I was recently contacted by a woman who is 39 , tall .attractive, 2 older teenage children and a nice job.After chatting some we went out on 2 dates within the past week or so , We had fun dates (no sex)... and it upset her when I told her the age difference was a problems for me
Enter a woman my age , who I had been pursuing for almost 6 months , and she finally agreed to a first date this weekend . She calls today ((thru the younger woman co-worker ), .. said she found out I had been dating the 39 yr old ..said she didn't know I was like that.. and cancels our date !!
WTH ? Is dating a younger woman a black mark on my name ..?
Do you cross someone off your list if they have dated younger women ??
I'm ready to give up and go back into solitude . !!!! | |

I'm 54 and I'm looking for men in the 50-60ish age range. When I see that a 60 year old man has put 30 as his preference for a date I click away. I really don't know what to make of men who want to date women younger than their own daughters! | |

Past a certain age the chronological number does not mean much . What matters is the maturity level of both of you, shared values, etc, etc. If the age thing was a problem for you, why did you go on the first date to begin with only to pass judgement later.

Ok, let me get this straight...... You are #1) Complaining that you live in a community with limited potential? YUP
2) An attractive woman comes into your life that you go on more than one date with and have fun? YUP
So, what you do is blow her off because girl #1 comes around after months of you chasing her? YUP
Nope, you don't get a black mark for dating a younger woman, you get one for complaining about lack of availability and then blowing off someone who you actually had a good time with and could have maybe made something with for some nit wit that wouldn't give you the time of day!!!  | |

Didn't you were like what? Dating a 39 year old isn't being a child molester. You should've asked #2 what her version of the proper age range is for you. If you were to date a woman who is 13 years older than you, would that be a problem for her too? Who you dated in the past is nobody's business but yours and the date. It's too bad you're in a little hick town where everybody knows everybody and knows what everybody else is up to. Be thankful you didn't get to meet the idiot who is judging you before even meeting. I have read a lot of the OP's comments on other posts and find him intelligent, nice guy and other attributes that make his "a catch." Just trying to point out to him that he is being self destructive. Finding excuses not to date an attractive woman he has fun with but going after someone not interested in him and sounds like a very unloving person. | |
