Posted: 3/21/2012 4:46:22 PM | Prefer my vitamix blender over using my hands :) It is a blender, juicer, food processer, mill grain, ice cream maker and more.. all in one. I prefer NO cooking the best... raw food vegan, not sure if that's a style or a preference, but it is, what it is :)
Pam Anderson, does she cook? I would not have guessed she did.

| What is your Fav tool on the Kichen? Posted: 4/8/2012 5:19:40 PM | | My kitchen knife is by J.A. Henckels International. The style is Classic. The model is X 50 CR MO V 15 31161-200 (8"). Made in Spain. I consider this my general purpose knife. Plus it is weighted which means cutting and chopping vegetables is a snap. | |

| What is your Fav tool on the Kichen? Posted: 4/8/2012 5:36:33 PM | I dunno, like holycow I think a good blender/juicer is key to flexible cooking...I really want one of the ones that also cooks...that'd be great for soup, fillings and fruit leather.
Though I'm also gonna agree with Pam too, as of yet I have not found a pasta or tortilla press or any tool (other than a blender/juicer) that is anywhere near as good as doing it by hand...

| What is your Fav tool in the Kichen? Posted: 4/14/2012 8:04:17 AM | | I've been enjoying my new apple corer / slicer I picked up a couple weeks ago. From a full apple to eight even sized wedges ready for peanut butter in about 10 seconds. | |
|
| What is your Fav tool in the Kichen? Posted: 4/14/2012 6:53:09 PM | My crock pot/slow cooker. I love to make a crock of something and smell it cooking all day long, and then have soup or stew to warm up for meals the rest of the week. In the colder months, anyway. Not so much in the summer. Then it will be my grill, lol.
Also what I call my "Rachael Ray knife". She uses some expensive knife with a Japanese name for chopping all the time. I found a similar knock-off for $8 in Walmart and I love it, use it every day.

| What is your Fav tool in the Kichen? Posted: 5/17/2012 3:02:47 PM | I'm a vegetarian. No doubt...a good knife for cutting up 'stuff'. Better still, a girlfriend with a good knife for cutting up 'stuff'.
Also a CD player, 8 track, Ipod, Cassette player, etc... I like good background music when preparing food...bop around the kitchen.

| What is your Fav tool in the Kichen? Posted: 5/22/2012 12:57:00 PM | | not really a tool...... a full spice rack and get rid of the measuring spoons if you are not baking. A little of this and a pinch of that along with a toss of the other thing is what makes it so creative. | |

A little of this and a pinch of that along with a toss of the other thing is what makes it so creative
So true, as whether it be food, love & life,if one does not spice it up a little here & there, then all things are bland &n un creative....lol
So, as the early explorers sail the world to seek the route to the spices of food & also life, u can't never fail for ever trying......
Naturally some good knifes, I like wood cutting boards, hard maple, some good seasoned pots & pans, cast iron & stainless steel,no Teflon, as the one one I did have, I sand blasted & buffed that stuff off years ago.... a good stove,& feel the heat, that cooks the meal that will please the pallet, again & again....to discover more,to mel the things that comforts it so......

| What is your Fav tool in the Kichen? Posted: 5/24/2012 10:06:41 AM | | Definitely the Vitamix. It does so many things and was well worth the money. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it is not easy to clean. | |
