See, this is where you went wrong...when I meet a guy who obviously posts pics that are really old/do not show what he CURRENTLY looks like, I walk away...no need to speak, just walk away. That's my new thing. I do not have time to waste, as I'm a busy woman. "Jaws," I mean the man you met, would not have even had the opportunity to kiss me!
I "just walk away" in the initial meet if:
- He shows up looking nothing that was indicated in his profile (a few inches shorter, more than 20 lbs heavier than his pics, 1/2 of his hair is gone yet all of his posted photos have him with a full head of hair, etc.)
-He's noted he's a professional in his profile, yet when you meet, he tells you he actually hasn't been in that field since the market crashed in 2007...and he's either unemployed and/or he's been a sales associate at Walmart for the past 4 years...of course very unfortunate that this happened, yet kind of misleading, don't ya think?! It's kind of like the guy who calls himself a football player...when he did it in college years ago. Of course your experience can't be taken away from you...but it is not what you do right now.
-He mentions he has a couple of kids from "prior relationships" yet he indicated "none" for having children...WTF?!? Did human beings that share your DNA just appear out of the blue?!

Ask for recent photos next time as well. Photos are pretty easy to figure out. And do not let chatting and e mails go on for a month.
How do you kiss with teeth? He was probably sitting there jacking the tiger before you even got there.

Posted: 4/1/2012 7:35:06 AM | I think the 1st mistake you made was waiting a month to meet the guy. You'd be less aggrieved by such a lousy date if you had less time and energy invested by the time you meet for the first time.
Usually, one or two phone conversations is enough to know if you want to meet someone and whether there's any obvious red flags -- IF you've developed some good "weeder" skills, and can listen with the big ears on when you're having those conversations. I wouldn't feel bad, though -- you said he was the perfect gentleman in his communication with you before you met... sometimes a bad date is just the luck of the draw.
I really can't imagine someone actually rubbing themselves in public, but I believe you.
