The food was great & welcomed by so many, not to mention that meeting up at the cook house in the morning is a wonderful way to start the new day! If you're single & new to the idea of camping with strangers, as I was last year, there is nothing to fear but that fear itself! I am so glad that I went! All the people I met, starting with our POF host, met me with a warm welcome, were friendly, helpful, caring, and the kind of folks that I want to see again. I hope to see more new faces this year ! One Hot and I are looking so forward to this our only camp out this year, as we will be in Winnipeg for my daughter's wedding on the September long weekend... Dazil, as always I will help with breakfast. One Hot and I will provide hangovers for anyone willing to partake in the shooter bar.(Yes I have come up with a '70's inspired shooter to start the weekend off right! ) We still have a fair amount of supplies from last season, but will check what is here and post at a later date. For those that are new.... there is no charge to enjoy the shooter bar, but all we ask is that you contribute! One thing I do know is that we are OUT OF SHOOTER GLASSES(the plastic ones) nothing worse than a bartender with dishpan hands! Don't be afraid to sign up and come out to join this fun loving gang of over 40 folks! See you all in 82 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| 2012 Southern Alberta Singles Campout At FT Macleod Posted: 4/6/2012 6:00:25 AM | Dear Cooker:
I have purchased 200 one ounce shooter glasses to aid in the shooter bar challenge. Now what are the rest of you going to drink out of ;) ?
Should I go back and buy some more? Or get the 2.5 ounce ones, they are more cup like and less shot glass like.
Looking around to see if I can find my leopard print Jocky undies that I was sporting in the '70's, oh yeah and the skinny kid body to go with them ;) .

Let me think>>>>>>> 1/3 oz Jager 1/3 oz Tequila and 1/3 oz Sambuca.. yup, that should either kill ya or cure ya ..............or get you ready for the next batch! LOL and as far as delivering breakfast, make sure you leave your whip outside of the tent so we can wake you in style! I'll make a small roasting pan of cabbage rolls for Saturday night. Same recipie as I did for Christmas at Elkwater! Now that was a blast even if One Hot and I froze to death! ( thanks Shandi)
