I usually will not take the time to rotate my head if a guy is not smart enought to figure out how to rotate a picture. This is one of the most basic things to be able to do on a computer, or just ASK somebody, or even turn the camera and take another picture and use that one. Sheesh. | |

Posted: 4/15/2012 7:31:20 AM | Maybe that's their method of weeding out people. Pet peeves will die if you don't feed them, maybe they like to feed them so the pet grows up, grows strong, runs amok, and savages their owner.
Maybe they do it to get attention, I mean the photos of everyone else are right side up, so be different, stick out, get more profile views.
Maybe they have some sort of condition where their head grew sideways.
Maybe they had to pawn their computer desk to afford the premium membership so have to lay down in front of the camera on their laptop.
Maybe they were taking pictures with their friends and one guy though it would be funny to kick the guys legs out and the picture was taken while he was in mid air.
Maybe a sideways picture is like an online gang sign, all the hand signs were taken.
Maybe their photo is right side up, you just have an inner ear infection or something. | |

Posted: 4/15/2012 7:41:43 AM | My suspicion (being as I am thus prone) is that some of them are purposely posting sideways pictures to sabotage the ease with which we can check through Google Reverse Image lookup or TinEye, and confirm that they are, in fact, posting a lie of a profile.
The badly cropped ones don't bother me as much, because it took me a while to figure out how to do that trick. | |

When I was still looking my pet peeves were the profiles without pictures, but you have to have a picture to contact them. This was closely followed by the shirtless pic. Some guys look great without their shirts. Some... well, the image occasionally haunts me. | |
