| | Snogging on a first datePage 1 of 4 (1, 2, 3, 4) | If Ive fancied someone on a first date, I find myself sitting there thinking Id just love to kiss her. But I'm either not brave enough or either think I should just wait and see what happens at the end of the date or even wait till second date if that happens.
I'm absolutely fine if the woman kisses me first on the date - well as long as I fancy her.
So what about others - do you just go for it or hang back and see.

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:24:41 PM | Absolutely no problem snogging the face of someone I fancy on a first date - after a few drinks of course | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:26:07 PM | | If I fancy the pants off of someone, I will definately go in for a kiss if I sense the feelings mutual! Haven't had anyone fight me off yet! | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:34:19 PM | I'd always go for it.
If she's not interested/rejects me, then c'est la vie... it's not a big deal and at worse you feel like a bit of a fanny for a few seconds or minutes

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:42:35 PM | Oh no. I'd be to worried I'd misread the signals!
Holding hands is OK though :).

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:43:26 PM | | Sorry can't help it but the word 'snogging' makes me think of kids and playgrounds. Guess it's just one of those words I don't get along with. | |

~hmmm I don't drink so what can I apportion the blame to? ermmm ... nothing I guess ...just a brazen hussy~

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:46:04 PM | | I think you can tell how well things are going, body lanuguage, conversation etc...if all is going swimmingly and it feels right, go for it, no reason not to | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:48:13 PM | | defo , yes , if you fancy the person , :-) .... it may lead to other things tho :-/ | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:52:35 PM | If the chemistry feels right I can't think of a more perfect ending to a first date than a lingering snog at the end... feeling your face flushed with a stupid grin on your face as your date watches you drive out of the pub car park...trying to look composed and confident as you put your foot down and drive out on to the main road to the jarring sound of someone tooting their horn and flashing their lights at you.... but who cares... *sighs* | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:52:41 PM | | Yeah I don't mind snogging on the first date. If the right signals are there.. And anyway, at least you can gauge whether they are able to kiss properly or not. Or whether they taste like an ashtray if they smoke or need to have dental treatment due to decay of the back teeth. Snogging unearths all this. :)) | |

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 1:56:10 PM | | I love kissing if i fancy him off course but have never dived in first . I have sat there and thought god i wish he would just shhh and kiss me lol | |

Maybe he's wishing that you would just kiss him?
Bit silly on both sides if that was the case.
If I thought I was in with a chance, I'd go for it... much as I'd like to believe that loads of women would do exactly the same, I think quite a few would wait for the man to do it, for the same reasons they'd want a bloke to make the first move
A shame, but these things happen no.
I think I'd be a bit annoyed if a girl needed to have a few drinks, to make her move.
Plus, I dunno about other blokes but, if I get a decent snog and it doesn't lead to a decent shag.... Then I am going to be a bit disappointed

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:08:50 PM | | Awwww you poor thing Waynie ~ decaying teeth, ashtrays, people who can't kiss properly ~ are you talking from experience ? ;-) | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:10:34 PM | Carpe Diem and all that.
If it's there then go for it, even if it's five minutes in...women give off plenty of signals and it's a hell of an ice breaker!
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:17:29 PM | I love snogging. Its great after having a first date being slightly nervous and excited then smooching. Fooking bring it on! | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:19:44 PM | Probably not, and in reality I m a bit shy too make the first move.
However, maybe thats just the dates I ve had so far, wouldn t rule it out, as it would depend on the chemistry, and how much I fancied them.
I must confess though, that if I discovered on meeting that their dental hygiene left something to be desired, then kissing on a first date, or any other for that matter would be very unlikely to happen.

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:23:02 PM | I look forward to the day that I would really love to snog someone on a first date! I would be too scared though that I got the vibes wrong, so would probably wait and see.....and plan it on the next one! | |

Alas, I'm afraid so. 'tis such a deflating experience when the kiss does not match the packaging.
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:32:38 PM | | I wouldn't go in for a full blown snog but a cheeky little kiss at the end of the date to get that spark going and him wanting more is always good and will keep you on his mind for the rest of the evening at least! | |

'Carpe Diem and all that'
nah, as that would definitely involve fishy breath !!!!! :-)))
I do really know what it means........

| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:35:14 PM | @msg 20
Nope. Gotta say that wouldn't do it for me and I'd probably lose interest in a girl who did something like that.
However, I have no doubt whatsoever that there are sh1tloads of blokes out there, who'll buy into that kind of thing.
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:38:30 PM | | It's happened before although I totally can't remember how...and then I stayed the night but refused to go all the way.. which must have been a good move as that led to a 3 yr relationship xD | |
|
| Snogging on a first date Posted: 4/24/2012 2:49:09 PM | | Very mentlegenly of you Browo1f. I would have done the same. You never know if she'll resent it in the morning otherwise. | |
