| Tennessee Get Together ...Who's up 4 it ?
Posted: 8/1/2005 6:20:13 PM | Well , kitty I'm working on it . Let any locals you know ,in on the idea of it and hopefully we can make it happen . Any ideas on where to have it ? I'm thinking club/bar/resturant . But we could go another route and maybe a outdoor cookout, when it cools down in Mts . Or river/lake get a DJ and do some BBQ . I'm open to any and all suggestions .

as in what city. Maybe even suggest a place like a restaurant in that city/town.
I would like to see it happen and I know I would be willing to travel a couple hours to get there, so where do you think a good place would be?

Nashville....it's a couple hours from me,
but I think it is pretty much central to everyone one in Tennessee.
Anyone else have a suggestion?

what about a KNOXVILLE get together?
wasn't that the ORIGINAL destination?
We could all meet up at "The Mellow Mushroom" for pizza and cokes/brew, then meander down to the Worlds Fair Park for outdoor activities? | |

Posted: 9/27/2005 9:30:40 PM | Well, now you know, there's interest enough. Since you were the first to suggest it I'd say Knoxville area is fair enough. If all goes well another could be done later toward the western part of the state. I would recommend and hope that it wouldn't go any farther east than Knoxville so it is within reasonable traveling time for more folks. I'm middle of the state (between Knoxville and Nashville) so knox is great with me.
How organized are you talking about? Anybody got a farm that wouldn't mind having live music, food vendors, camping, and the like? Just a weekend of raw, wild, uninhibited...well, it's a thought.
Start organizing and keep us posted. Using this for a communication center we could do just about anything. I like those options! | |
