So....t e r r i b l y.......sad.

Mr. Lizard has LEFT THE BUILDING!

What say all of you? Do you think this is a good thing? A sad thing? A "who cares" thing?

I'm absolutely thrilled that no one in this country even had to CONSIDER him on the ballot........

Not since William Buckley have I seen someone able to show up leftist dopes as quickly and easily--and all with a smile--as Speaker Gingrich. Larry Elder and Mark Levin are just as devastating in a fight with a statist dim bulb, but they don't have to be as nice and gentlemanly about slicing their opponents to ribbons as Gingrich does.

I weep for the lost opportunities to call out a hypocrite, now that said, Newt is no dummy so I will miss watching him work as I admire his ability to fool so many people.

He has an ability to turn the conversation his way and works that to his advantage and I really miss seeing how he and Obama would do against each other.

Because for someone reason people seem to be afraid to call him on his bullshit until after the fact.

I'm absolutely thrilled that no one in this country even had to CONSIDER him on the ballot........

I would say he had many people that wanted him on the ballet as he would have not been able to fund his book tour err i mean campaign tour.

Invoking the The Palin Plan.

Step 1: Set up Pac

Step 2: Pretend to run for office and release book/s

Step 3: Profit (both on book sales and on Pac funds)

Oh, he'll be back. He likes himself a great deal, and I think that he genuinely believes that he has value to the rest of us. I have a strong aversion to his holding any positions of power, simply because he has shown again and again. that he values showmanship over facts or logic.

I think he appeals to the less thoughtful members of the right, precisely because he does lie, cheat and steal so cheerfully. The folks who do the least good work for the right, are turned on by anyone who flummoxes and flusters the opposition, and don't care that the way he does it is actually destructive to conservative goals and values.

He will be back, and will likely run for President again, if he has the opportunity. In the mean time, I wouldn't be surprised if he turns up as another regular Fox commentator.

If only we could be sure he'd stay gone and go back to fleecing businessmen with his bogus "Awards".

But you can rest assured, he'll spend an inordinate amount of time cruising the Talking head shows, and then rise from the steaming pile of dung he hides under when he scents another chance to grab a few dollars (And a few suckers, maybe another girlfriend when the botox doesn't work on Callista anymore) when the political climate is right.

Mr. `family values`Gingrich who , when his wife got cancer, had her served her with divorce papers in her hospital bed.. LMAO

That is untrue.

He first asked her if she was ok with an open marriage, then he dumped her when she said no.

You're getting them mixed up. That was his second wife. It was his first wife who got cancer and he served her with divorce papers in her hospital bed. His second wife got MS, then he divorced her.

He did manage to blame the media's focus on his troubled personal history though. Not that he is a scuzzbag, just that the media can't seem to let it go.

"There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate." -- Newt Gingrich, explaining in 2011 why he cheated on his first two wives. So he did it for love of country. How patriotic of him.

I think Newt Gingrich is a bucket of human waste. I worked an event once where Gingrich was a paid speaker. The audience was swooning over him like fluttery-eyed young school-girls in love. It is amazing to me how he is able to bamboozle so many people. Either Gingrich is incredibly smart, or the people he fools are incredibly stupid. Perhaps a little of both.

Lets not forget his other comment, when challanged on his infidelities;

"It doesn't matter what I DO, what matters is what they hear me say."

If anything embodies the vileness and hypocrisy of the GOP, it's Newt.

Oh yeah Newt could fool people. He could fool them into thinking he had any grip on reality.

I don't know who's campaign was more of a joke between his or Rick Santorum's. Then again, the whole GOP candidacy is a joke.

I will admit though his buffoonery did give all of us who follow politics something to talk about...and gave Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert plenty to joke about too on their respective TV shows.

I also can only imagine what sorts of jokes George Carlin could have came up with about these politicians of today. Especially the GOP of today.

I checked out Newt's health care brain trust website ........the one that went bust recently.

It was going to be a theoretical counter to the Affordable Health Care Act.

I have a masters in public health and kicked around the field of health care finance for a while, and I have never read such hot air and pure bullshit in my entire life.

May Newt is a smart guy, but before he went shooting his mouth off about "ObamaCare" he might have had a better plan in mind........but he didn't have anything.

I didn't hear of anything he had on the table that resolved anything at all.

Good riddance to him. Just a pompous, clever ass making his last hurrah.

"The most notorious incident in Gingrich's marriage ... was when he cornered Jackie in her hospital room where she was recovering from uterine cancer surgery and insisted on discussing the terms of the divorce he was seeking. Shortly after that infamous encounter, Gingrich refused to pay his alimony and child-support payments. The First Baptist Church in his hometown had to take up a collection to support the family Gingrich had deserted. Six months after divorcing Jackie, Gingrich married a younger woman, Marianne, with whom he had been having an affair."

That sucks. This was the only interesting thing about this election.
The rest is just the typical American navel gazing, self absorbtion and sloganeering.
As much as American "liberals" and "conservatives" seem to argue, the rest of the world can see that they are made for one another. If they didn't have each other to bash they might actually have to turn their attention to the rest of the world. We don't want that.
