RATES: $31 per night + HST for 2 adults ($10 for extra person in tent) ... some sites have the capability to have 2 tents, so you could buddy up with another POFer to save a few bucks. There is a cancellation fee of $10.00 per night
HOW TO BOOK - - Simply call Camp Hillbilly and tell them you'd like to reserve a spot in the POF area. We've reserved “Possum Hollow” area for our tents. It has no electricity or water, but it's available only a few steps away where the bathroom/showers are.
We're gonna have ourselves a real root'n toot'n hillbilly weekend eat'n vittles and possum pies and having ourselves a hoedown weekend of fun!!! ... there's swimmin', volleyball, baseball, bocce, hiking available and of course music, singin', wiennie roasts and smores ... all enjoyed with new and old POF fishies
Plans are to set up Friday and in the evening just relax around a campfire enjoying friends and music (if we all throw in a buck or two, we can get a bucket of wood for the main campfire)
Saturday morning we'll all get together and cook breakfast and for the evening meal it'll be a potluck feast, so get your gourmet redneck cook'n book out
... and if you just want to come out for the day and enjoy the festivities, that's great too ... the more the merrier

Posted: 6/16/2012 2:36:16 AM | Hey peeps...don't forget to book your site, and as babygirl said...you can double up on a site.....There are only approx 20 sites in Possum Hollow (double up 40 tents)...we already have 30 people signed up for this event, soooo the sites available are going to go fast....They do have other sites in the park, but more expensive......

Another friendly reminder is we are having pot luck on Saturday for supper, please make sure you bring your speciality dish and something to warm it with.
and of course bug repellant.........lol........whoot I am excited and just know this will be our best one yet.....whoot | |

Posted: 6/27/2012 3:31:29 AM | Hi Shane, i just called Camp Hillbilly yesterday and yes there are still some sites available....Corrine has been advised that as we book the sites, she will double up once all the sites (20) are filled....hope that works for everyone....as said before, there are other sites in the park available..but more costly......
Jimmy i know you are sharing a site with Cindy....please call Hillbilly and inform them of that...so Corrine doesn't book someone else on her site....

If you are sharing a site with someone, please let Corrine know at time of booking because, if not you may be doubled up with someone else.....I have instructed her to go ahead a double up once all the sites are gone, and as you know, there are only 20 sites in Possum Hollow......I will leave this up to you!!!!
Venturedriver...okay, you bring the herring and i will bring the Akrivit (Snaps)...lol
If you are planning on arriving Friday nite, then you are responsible for your own dinner....and Saturday nite we have a POT LUCK, so bring your favourite dish.....
