Of course there are nutcases around, but my Mom always told me "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.". Wise woman, my Mom...even if I do have to go days without speaking sometimes. JK.
That being said, sometimes profiles can be so overwhelmingly positive and perky that they make my head ache, especially if the member feels the need to insist that he or she is a positive person, rather than just demonstrating it by their lighthearted demeanor or anecdotes.
It's all about balance, I guess. And if you have bad balance, just write one that will make half of those reading it laugh, and the other half scratch their heads in bewilderment:) | |

I agree; don't be negative or cynical. Just be pleasant, don't get too deep and have fun. When you fall in love then you can be negative and cynical :) | |
