So i'm sat here listening to my ABBA Gold album...

What are other peoples guilty pleasures that they try to hide from others? There is always that one album that we all hate to love but is overplayed to death because we love every track on it!

I recently put together an 80s playlist with much more ease than I would like to admit.

That's not really a guilty pleasure is it, more of an image thing

Abba Gold is up there with Michael Jackson's Thriller as far sa sales go, Benny & Bjorn are up there with Lennon & McCartney as far as songwriters go

Barry Manilow!

Yes, honestly.

"Somewhere down the road" and "Even Now" are the favourites from the Manilow albums I have.

I am also keen on Abba.

Ha ha, I though I would be the only one to like Barry Manalow's music.

I saw him in concert years ago. He was fab.
So, yes, Barry Manalow would be my guilty pleasure....Oh and Westlife. :)

What about George Formby, or Demis Roussos then??? I don t like either of those I hasten to add, and really cant do Barry, but Abba, thats part of my youth, put Dancing Queen on, and I m back to a girl of twelve at the School Disco. Somebody mentioned Girls Aloud recently, and I have to confess they would probably be my up to date guilty pleasure, not sure its that cool to like a girl band at my age, but I just thought they did catchy pop songs that you couldn t help singing along to...

Celine Dion feat Bee Gees " immortality" Every time I went to my friend house after school, I would always ask her Nan, if I can listen to that song as it was her Nan's album. I was 14 years old. TUNE, I am actually listening it now. YAY

So this is who I am,
And this is all I know,
And I must choose to live,
For all that I can give,
The spark that makes the
power grow

And I will stand for my
dream if I can,
Symbol of my faith in who I
am,
But you are my only,
And I must follow on the road
that lies ahead,
And I won't let my heart
control my head,
But you are my only
And we don't say goodbye,
And I know what I've got to
be

Immortality
I make my journey through
eternity
I keep the memory of you and
me inside

Fulfill your destiny,
Is there within the child,
My storm will never end,
My fate is on the wind,
The king of hearts, the joker's
wild,
But we don't say goodbye,
I'll make them all remember
me

'Cos I have found a dream
that must come true,
Every ounce of me must see it
through,
But you are my only
I'm sorry I don't have a role
for love to play,
Hand over my heart I'll find
my way,
I will make them give to me

Immortality
There is a vision and a fire in
me
I keep the memory of you and
me, inside
And we don't say goodbye
We don't say goodbye
With all my love for you
And what else we may do
We don't say, goodbye ,

Russell Crowe (the actor) also sings with a band.
The early stuff was mostly bleh but he's done some really nice stuff too.

I have to confess to loving a bit of Dolly Parton from time to time and I'm also a reggae muso, so I'd appreciate it if you kept my Dolly thing a secret :-)
