| | hi new to this & looking for some helpPage 1 of 1 | | Hi. I'm pretty new to this and I am having some problems meeting people on here or getting the responses that I would like. I think I could use some constructive criticism on restructuring my profile please, so any inputs would be helpful. Thank you! | |

Fair headline.
Great pics. (If they are not 10-15 years old.) Add a creative caption to each pic. In the pic with the Chinese background you look several years older than the others. Date several of the pics in the captions.
The first 50 words of About Me display in searches and are critical. The part about the kids should be in a second paragraph, and indicate their ages and if you have full custody, primary, etc.
Speaking of paragraphs. They make text easier to read. Try breaking your text in to three distinct paragraphs.
Coffee and Starbuck's (with an 's') are a real turn-off to a lot of people.
You have several grammar errors. Proofread.

| hi new to this & looking for some help Posted: 6/2/2012 4:42:19 AM | I agree with campfire, great username & pics. Need to fix the thumbnails on those narrower pics and rotate them with your first pic. Caption your pics. People will take note of what you tell them in captions.
"Average body type" seems a small understatement. A few extra pounds looks more realistic. Size 14 is average size in the US though....
Words likes "fun loving person, who is faithful, compassionate, and honest." are cliches because practically everyone says them and similar things. Your interests show fun loving anyway. If you talked about being a nurse that would probably indicate compassion. Faithful and honest are difficult to prove in other ways but they're still overused words.
Don't need to write about me, when the site says it already on your profile.
One way to stand out more is to write a quote you like at the top of your profile. This will appear in search results.
Otherwise you shouldn't be having a problem. The only thing is studies of dating site data show interest drops off a lot for women over 40. A 48yr guy is likely to be sending messages to an age range of 30-50

| hi new to this & looking for some help Posted: 6/2/2012 9:56:17 AM | What kind of responses are you getting? If its the kind I think you are getting, then sadly there's not much you can do about it.
Browo1f: you and I could be twins! We should steal each other's pictures and see if anyone notices...
