I will Have Another has a chance to grab the triple crown that has elluded many in the last 3 decades.....

Im rooting for him but its gonna be hard for him to grab the crown... 3 races in this short of a period is a tuff task to handle at this level.. Grant it he's bred to go this long but does he got enough left in the tank?

Unfortunately he's been scratched due to a career ending injury.
That's a shame. Time to go to the paddock for stud.

as long as the industry insists on breeding for precocious speed, we will see horses with
long, spindly, frail legs that can't go the distance. yes, i'll have another has 12 furlongs in his
pedigree, but the big, strong-boned colts we saw in the '70s have gone the way of the dinosaur.

as much as we all wanted to see a triple crown winner this year, nothing's worth taking a chance
with the health and well-being of a delicate animal. inside, i knew it wouldn't happen. but the
racing gods struck a day early this year. they decided to forego the formality of the race, and
eliminate the possibility altogether.

sunday silence, smarty jones, funny cide, big brown...yeah. i'll have another ~ another 2-jeweled
hero. damn shame.

Way do you think of black Cavite I think she was only betten rubbish in aus and they where thinking of taking frankel on lol he'd give her a furlong start and beet he a furlong she should retire I woudent run her again :modhammer:

do you mean black caviar?well, they say she's the fastest horse in the world right now.
didn't she sustain some sort of injury, though? apparently she won 22 consecutive races.
she's done enough. let her retire.

Um der!.Frankel is a mile horse and Black Caviar is a sprinter.There is no comparison.And yes she tore muscles in her hind legs during that race at Ascot and still beat the best the Poms could put up.She is going to race again in Australia.Lets just say she beat rubbish in England.

Black cavier has been beat, ever, nor will she as horse racing is an industry that relies on betting and those betting agencies lose money on horses like black caviar. she is heading the same way pharlap went if she doesn't retire...
