The primary pic is the biggest factor in the number of views. The second group of factors are Username, Headline and the first 50 words.
Your first sentence sounds just like the other 20 guys on her search screen or in her Inbox. For best results it should be creative and unique. You can use humor, creativity or sincere and genuine feelings.
Everything needs to be positive and upbeat, which yours is. You have some grammar/spelling issues. Run spell check and proofread.
It is short, and doesn't describe anything about who/what you are looking for. That is best done in the final paragraph.
Please delete the second half of the First Date. Not a good idea. | |

Why does every student asking for a profile these days seem to be studying computer game design? (I think you're the 4th since yesterday I've replied to!)
I don't know if it's an age thing (my demographic is twice your age), but the women in my age group and a little younger (i.e. mid-30s to mid-40s) seem to go more for the coffee/drink/dinner type of first date - I've not looked into what 20-somethings suggest for their dates - maybe do some market research and match their expected ideas of a date.
Hmmm... 'bring some friends' on a first date so they can evaluate how it's going? Does that imply you'll be bringing friends to evaluate the woman's 'performance' on the date too? There's always the possibility too of the woman thinking 'what if he doesn't like me and gets off with my friend instead?' - too many things make me say 'Noooooooooo' to this idea!
You love going clubbing and out for a drink... and can be a 'typical lad' - does this mean you're going to end up getting pissed on the date and throwing up over her dress?
You start almost every sentence with 'I' and offer nothing to say what kind of woman you are looking for. Also you have many different levels to you personality that will only become apparent as someone gets to know you - well true, I have a theory that first dates are never like real life - but will any of those levels be unpleasant ones?
Think about the person you are trying to attract - write your profile as if you are talking to that person. All I could get from it at the moment is that you're studying game design and are a 'bit of a lad'. You say you have many different hobbies but you don't expand on that at all. | |

Hang in there - don't get discouraged!
Here's some hints RE: initial msgs to women:
Don't ask the woman out for a meet/her phone number immediately. It's coming off as a tad desperate and it's creepy.
Ask her one or two questions based on her profile. Do not bombard her.
Don't rattle on and on about yourself.
Keep it light.
Add a touch of humour.
Don't comment on her physical attributes.
Don't ask/beg her to reply/check you out. | |

Your main pic is not your best pic. I like the one where you are holding up the camera to the mirror, except it would be nice if you had one smiling. Can you get a friend to take some of you out and about?
Your profile words make you sound like a sweet guy, but a sweet guy who can't write English well! Get someone who is a better writer to go over it and fix your grammar, sentence structure etc. It's actually confusing in some places and that's a real turn off. | |

Posted: 6/29/2012 3:13:47 PM | yes, im going to get that sorted however one note i havnt meantioned is my dyslexia, theres so much a computer can help you, waiting for a friend to help me out, jus the waiting part is unfortunate, and yes i did note awhile about my desired partner i am looking for just yet again waiting to rewrite it.
The comment in being emotionally involved in the site, ok only just wanted advice i had a chance with something and didnt know what to do so i posted it on here, tons of bad experiences haven't helped but theres always a chance to hope for something better, that being why i havent deleted this profile yet. | |
