Song starts playing as soon as I swing open the door.
White rose will fall on me with he trumpets blowing at my side.

Same thing for the bride but:
Verdi: Il Trovatore - Di Quella Pira

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXIElPNn-l4

Same singer.

-----------------------

Ballroom Dance:
Variations On Handel's Oratorio G Major

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr8CJeLSjrw

-----------------------

Dinner:
Puccini: Manon Lescaut - Donna Non Vidi Mai (Playing at about 25 decibels)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Il0YeO2Y50

-----------------------

Ending:
The Magic Flute, Aria (No. 14), Queen of the Night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xqd4LxtizU

-----------------------

Funeral song:
Donizetti: L'Elisir D'Amore - Una Furtiva Lagrima

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVqLBCs1_BM

-----------------------

Funeral Ending: (Once im 6 feet under
Symphony No. 25 in G Minor, K. 183; 1st Movement

imperial march from star wars.

That would be hilarious for the bride coming down the aisle.
Then the first dance could be from the Mos Eisley cantina band.

My cousin and his wife actually walked out of the chapel to the Imperial March after being married. They also had the priest start off the ceremony with the "Mawiagge..." speech from Princess Bride. When the parents entered before the ceremony, it was to "Sweet Child o Mine."

Marriage ceremonies can be fun if you know creative people.

I personally don't have a specific one I would want played, as I don't ever plan on getting married.

Marriage?! To be honest, I never even thought of that. Hmmm…

As for funeral: ooh, it’s creeping closer! Either ‘Land of the Dead’ by Summoning ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHESjItTd-Q ), or ‘Phantasmagoria’ by Cathedral ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgzIzvlXCtU ).

Funeral is easy, Wayfaring Stranger from Jesse The Bard who does a really nice version that I ripped off from him. Thanks man!

Wedding? No idea, but I'll be playing that one myself this time.

For my funeral, 'Going Underground' by The Jam. Not because of the irony, but because that song hit me like a ton of bricks when it came out when I was a kid. I got a buzz from that song that I'd never had from any other and I still get that buzz when I hear it. My favourite song of all time and yes, it is ironic :-)

My eldest sister passed away 4 years ago..me and my siblings chose 'this town ain't big enough for the both of us' by Sparks, cos that was 'her song', every time I hear it I think of my big sis, and a certain incident from years ago..
Sadly, we bottled it and it ended up being Sonny and Chers' 'I got you babe'.
I've always regretted that and I wish we had all been that bit braver. RIP Neet xxx

Sorry to hear that, I've lost a few members over the last few years. I just wanted to post a jokey one so hope you don't think I am being rude.

Marriage = Welcome To The Jungle - Guns N Roses
Funeral = Another One Bites The Dust - Queen

Second one is a serious choice to make people laugh, Is that sick?

I would NEVER get married again...I actually learn from my mistakes...and I doubt VERY HIGHLY there is a man that could change my mind on that subject...so no marriage song...

But for my funeral I have to say "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica...it's my anthem so to speak...also "Don't Fear The Reaper" by BOC...and "A Beautiful Life"...that song has been an inspiration and favourite of mine since I can remember...most people don't know it by it's name, but the lyrics are;

Each day I'll do a golden deed
By helping those who are in need;
My life on earth is but a span,
And so I'll do the best I can.

Life's evening sun is sinking low,
A few more days and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done,
Where there will be no setting sun.

To be a child of God each day,
My light must shine along the way;
I'll sing His praise while ages roll
And strive to help some troubled soul.

The only life that will endure,
Is one that's kind and good and pure;
And so for God I'll take my stand,
Each day I'll lend a helping hand.

I'll help someone in time of need,
And journey on with rapid speed;
I'll help the sick and poor and weak,
And words of kindness to them speak.

While going down life's weary road
I'll try to lift some trav'ler's load;
I'll try to turn the night to day,
Make flowers bloom along the way.

Corny? Yeah...but the message is simplicity and beautiful with such love behind it...

Bold Spark 700...thank you for that, I don't take any offence whatsoever, I really do wish we had played 'her' song, even though it is not appropriate for a funeral..
If we had stuck with our original choice-Sparks-at least we would have come out with a bit of a smile, and a lot of explaining to do..!

I was married for 10 years and don't see that ever happening again, so..
They're coming to take me away, HaHa..cos if I did it twice I should be locked up.
Funeral, don't really want one, but the last song I ever want to hear is Wonderous Stories, by Yes, I've never heard anything that can compare with this song, it sounds like something from a different time/existence.
Makes me cry my eyes out it is that beautiful.
My brother wants 'Monster Mash' at his funeral, and if I am still around I will see that he gets it.
