| | 90% of all dating sites are running SpyWare ?? REALLY Hey POF look at your own!!Page 1 of 1 | | So I log in click on new users and instead of showing new users it flashes the page and starts to load Mate1 web site. Ok I must have clicked low and hit and Ad, so I try it again, and I go to the web site for Christian Mingles or something liek that. Every time I clicked on New Users on POFs page when I was logged in it too me some place else and a new dating site link. Sorry but WHAT THE H/F is that all about. I like POF but if they are starting to do the same thing as other sites, well its pretty simple I am out of here. the only free site and they are allowing some how re-directs when you try to check new users...hell afraid to see whats in my mail box. It would be interesting to see if I am the only one or if others recently have had similar problems as something is not right. And Yes POF I run the latest Anti Virus/Malware and Spyware programs which are updated hourly and a scan is ran every 6 hours on my system. I am well protected and they only place I am getting this issue is from here tonight so something is very very wrong. | |

It is infact a spyware within your computer attaching itself to your IE or some form of internet access. Run some security tools to fix the problem. A great suite I tell everyone to use is ESET security. It is by far the fastest real-time scanning and efficient one out.

You need to download a copy of Malwarebytes and the current definitions from a clean computer and put it on a disk or USB. I would also get a copy of Avast. You need to disconnect from the the internet physically. Try installing Avast and doing a boot scan. Then install Malwarebytes and update the definitions and do a complete scan.
If you can't get the virus out you will have to try other programs and you might have to try scanning from safe mode. I have Ccleaner, SDFix, ATF-Cleaner and SUPERAntiSpyware in my virus cleaner folder. Then do the Avast boot scan and Malewarebytes again. Once you computer is running good you should clear system restore. this is the same virus over and over with different names and tweeks. It usually redirects your webpages to fake pages and also include a fake virus software program. I have purchased Avast and Malewarebytes and keep them running I have not had problem in over 2 years.
