I think that POF you already have the means to implement such things as a restriction on who can contact you.
The obvious answer is: why bother when people can just put it in their profiles that they don't date whites, Catholic etc.? Well the only problem with that is 1) Most people don't thoroughly read people's profile 2)Chances are when the targeted group that is on the off list, responds negatively to the profile owner things can get uncomfortable or worse. 3) Because of 2 , this is a free to message site, while other sites you have to pay to message someone. The most you can do is wink otherwise.
The restriction categories in POF can accommodate race, religion etc. People can look at your profile, but that group you don't want, can't do anything more. | |
