| | Euro 2012 footballPage 1 of 1 | | So now, almost 2 weeks into the competition, who are people tipping for success? I think the Germans will get it.. Spain don't convince me, yes sure they destroyed Ireland but that's to be expected. I think mario Gomez will get the golden boot as well which pains me to say being English!!!! | |

| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/16/2012 2:56:29 PM | Well for work internal sweep stakes I want Portugal to win but personally believe it will be Germany vs Spain in the final I am shocked that Russia have been knocked out already I thought they would be QF for sure, just proves anything can happen | |

| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/22/2012 7:34:35 PM | | I've been following the games on ESPN, and I think Germany might win it. | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/24/2012 10:21:09 AM | the final two teams, Germany vs Spain the winner. Germany | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/25/2012 3:36:32 PM | | The big problem with england is? their tactics, their inability to keep the ball. Time and time again they let italy have the ball, and they just kept sitting back. Pirlo run that show, he was sensational. Shame carrick decided to not to come to the euro's, seeing gerrard played out of position was a crime in itself. It should have been gerrard playing off either carrol or rooney | |

| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/25/2012 6:32:13 PM | even though I have predicted Germany vs Spain final would be nice to see Italy beat Germany on thursday which is my birthday would be a nice birthday present a win into the finals
I watched sundays game on/off was too nerve wrecking to watch but was happy with the outcome I'm surprised it was a draw the way Italy was playing should have been 3 or 4 to 0

| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/28/2012 4:06:59 PM | | italy in the final it is, with the match fixing scandals with italy, which has happened to them twice before the 3rd time, it happened in 82 they won the world cup, it happened in 2006 and they won the world cup. I wonder, could it happen again in 2012? seems like fate with italy | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/28/2012 6:32:58 PM | The Italian player who scored the 2nd goal, was clearly offside. Anyone else saw it? Seems like fixed Euro 2012 to me. Italy vs Spain?
Two of 4 European countries in financial do do, the fix is on.
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/29/2012 3:04:28 AM | | same player scored both goals --and what a second goal :-) | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/29/2012 5:55:20 AM | | yea the nutcase bolleteli scored both goals, he blows hot and cold for me, and he has had way to many off days. Iitaly look good. They can match spain stroke for stroke in the passing game. and the Italian midfield I think can match the Spanish, but italy have runners off the ball which could be a huge help. Spain found it a problem against portugal, with the likes of ronaldo and nani, who offered something different for portugal, which spain did not get this, where all their players want to do, is pass pass and pass | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/29/2012 11:57:48 AM | pirelo is the key --keep him quiet u control the game.
we gonna see if they can :)
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/29/2012 2:22:28 PM | | frankster_p - I maybe in the minority that are not buying the Spanish and barca's BS, others can kiss their backsides but I am not. I find both sides of barca and spain extremely boring to watch its actually painful to watch, yes I love sides playing good passing football, but they take the sting right out of the game to death, and pass their way to victory. It may not be defensive football, but its still boring to watch, when there is no variety to it, other than pass pass pass | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 6/30/2012 9:21:31 PM | no need to worry bout pirlo or italy ---croatia man marked him and italy would of won if they didnt do the old italian trick of shutting up shop after they score a goal.
Ramos v mario, long as mario don't bag it like ronaldo did i feel italy should win.
if i had £1000 and had to bet ---be draw after 90mins
italy on pens | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 7/1/2012 1:59:03 PM | lol
o dear --they did keep him quiet, and how
Gratz to spain handed a lesson to the world on how to play football.
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 7/1/2012 6:08:21 PM | Italy... ha ha ha ha ha How did they win against Germany?
If Spain keeps playing like this, I wonder how many more years they are going to dominate this sports. Spain play their offense like a nicely conducted orchestra.
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 7/1/2012 7:55:05 PM | ^ spain has significantly better players (and coaching) than the Germans Spain brought their "A" game; whereas Italy seemed content just being in the finals Italians did take the game to Spain in the 1st half but couldn't rattle them The win against Germany seemed to have taken its toll on Italy.
Congrats to Spain for a well deserved title!
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 7/2/2012 9:29:10 AM | Yes Frankster p I agree proud of Italia. we were not expected to reach the finals And for all the above that are putting Italy down, notice its all from the UK and I thing we have what Spain does not have is we have more World Cup wins. | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 7/3/2012 4:46:40 PM | | Spain were fantastic, full credit, the way spain have performed has of late, I thought italy could win, but WOW did spain prove me wrong. Italy had a good period in the first half, but after that, they blew italy away, especially second half when it was 11 vs 11. | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 10/15/2012 4:34:27 PM | | If Spain are as good as they are now in Brazil in 2 years time i would'nt be surprised if the win the World Cup, even though obviously Brazil will be a massive threat & a South American team always wins it over their, because this Spanish side for me their untouchable !!! | |
| Euro 2012 football Posted: 10/18/2012 6:21:07 PM | | Even though Spain scraped a draw against France who scraped a draw against England who beat Spain? No such thing as an easy fixture.. Never write off the Germans.. | |
