It really is off putting to see the loo in the background or a heap of dirty ( I can only guess? ) laundry.
First impressions really do count guys so wouldn't it be worth it to get someone to take a good picture of you? | |

Posted: 6/19/2012 9:52:17 AM | people often post whatever photos they have on hand. those are often vacation shots. thus you get fishermen holding fish. those are often also parental memory shots. obviously these kind of photos include children.
First impressions really do count guys so wouldn't it be worth it to get someone to take a good picture of you?
you do realize the first impression you're making here is of a woman who has had 56 years to learn not to sweat the microscopic stuff, but hasn't, right? if you don't like someone's profile, move on to the next one. that's what all the guys are doing for whom you fall short. | |

It may be because that is one of the few they have, or to show their sporty "tribal provider" virility or that they are stable enough to want to be seen as good father potential,
maybe hoping to stimulate a few females hormones into being more open to the activity that begets fatherhood...

Trust me. It is not only guys who do this. It's a turn off for me, but I see many women's profiles that have pics of them holding a fish they apparently caught. I suppose they do it in the hopes of attracting men with similar interests which often include "muddin", "huntin", etc.
As for photos that include minor children, many simply do not know of the lengths pedophiles go to in order to gain access to children. They sometimes seek out single parents and gain their trust over time precisely for this reason.
As for the bathroom photo, they are demonstrating a lack serious intent, lack of the understanding of human nature, and common sense, IMO.
ALL of these types of photos are used by both men and women. | |

I see plenty of photos holding fish, child, dog...I would presume either it's a photo that's convenient or they like to show what their interests are or that they're family oriented. They have some reason, it's not up to them to explain it to you, me or anyone else. If you're so curious, why not drop them a and note and ask why they're holding something? That would be more productive, wouldn't it? | |

I see more negativity and aggression in publicly and blanketly deriding men's fish pics than I do with Christ's comment that you're old enough to have learned not to care about such minor offenses.

You have three nearly identical photos that are either grainy or out of focus.
Perhaps, like the fishermen, these *are* your best photos.
