I agree..What is so bad about LOL...would you rather someone to type out..."I am laughing because I am joking" or " I am laughing because you are funny" or....
It is hard to tell through text,chat or email whether someone is joking or not.
What would you rather we use OP?

My favourite profiles to read are when the girl can be friggin' hilarious without having to use the stupid word. If you can be funny in your profile by the way you write, not necessarily by WHAT you write, you're definitely funny in real life.
