Posted: 6/20/2012 3:49:26 PM | Seriously, I would suggest you observe her a bit to decide. here in the South, at least half of the women you meet will call you 'hun' and 'darling,' because here, those terms translate as "humanoid who I am not about to shoot in the belly with a shotgun." Nothing more.
For some women I've known too, the fact that they used terms like that was actually an indication that they did NOT like that person, much as Northerners rarely mean anything nice if they grimace and call you "buddy."
Now, the fact that she did this as a part of asking if you wanted to go to town, suggests that she at least is not hostile. So I would say neither panic, nor put in a special bulk order for Ramses Gold by the skid. | |

Posted: 6/20/2012 4:13:49 PM | Where I'm from, it's so common to call a stranger "m'love" that tourists actually get scared of cab drivers, shop owners, police officers, etc.. I almost said it to girl in a burka the other day, had to stop myself.
But anyways, there's no reading to be had. She's into you, so go for it. | |

But I have to discipline myself to stop because occasionally guys have thought I was flirting all got all attached and awkward. I would say if it's just pet names and no physical flirting then it's probably just a friends thing. Especially if she calls other guys those names too. | |
