Of course it's not legit. How could anyone even think it is? The US Congress cannot make you put anything on the flag for any reason w/o an amendment to the Constitution. You have the right of free expresson. You can't be forced to say anything, even symbolically, you don't want to say--not with your flag, your mouth, on paper, etc. Anyway, it's totally bizarre that the US Congress would vote for such a thing.

Posted: 6/28/2012 4:28:34 AM | you beat me to it Procol. i fell asleep researching this after work & yeah i found the original source as well. that's why i put it up for the forum to help me out since i didn't have access to a computer at the time. i was a lil choked myself that someone manipulated the story when it clearly says satire at the top. i'm not admitting i was wrong, just mislead.
besides it's a forum question open for debate so i'm not doing anything wrong, am i? even if it was true, wouldn't you have appreciated the extra day warning? i never said this (the flag issue) was for sure so everybody can stop putting words in my mouth.
as for the Russians, they're not to invade until martial law is declared which probably will be in October. they were flown in early to Denver so everybody would forget all about them in time. i can see a double pronged attack where the US military is kept busy attacking Iran & Syria while DHS along with the Ruskie & Chinese forces confiscate guns back in the States. China has warned about not issuing QE3 as they're a majority holder of US assets, but it looks like the Fed is going ahead with it anyways. I don't know the exact time table yet. late August would be my guess.
i was reading on Yahoo news tonight that Russia is going to start patrolling over Canada under the Open Skies treaty. kinda odd considering we'll be at war with them soon and we're fighting with them for control of the opening Arctic waters. i keep saying it - Canada & the States are one already since 2007...

He did say that he had visited "all fifty-seven states", and had "two more to go." I thought maybe I had missed something in history class, that there was a second Louisiana Purchase I hadn't heard about. | |

From what I read, conspiracy theory folks can range from somewhat misled right down to deeply troubled. Overly Obsessed about this type of non news can be bad. I blame the inter net partly- these crazy sites are prevalent and could reinforce their behavior.
I've posted to the OP on other threads. I'm trying to make him think a bit, not make fun of him. Making fun of someone this troubled is low and does nothing to fix anything. | |
