| | Profile Troubles Page 1 of 1 | | Hey guys, I've been a member for about a month now, got pics and a "about me" section up etc. etc. but i have gotten no emails or chat invites from anyone and i have been mailing women, but not more that once because I don't want to seem like a stalker. And i have gotten no replies so i don't know why, if its just me or how i have my profile set up. So can anyone check out my profile and give me some tips on how to make it better? | |

But, there's one big problem! The content of your written profile is frankly dreadful, very negative.
In summary, after reading your profile; you're unemployed, you were dumped by the last woman you were seeing, you play video games because you don't have anyone to share your other interests with, and you can't become a student because you have no money.
Your honesty has to be admired, but unfortunately it will get you absolutely nowhere in the fickle business of web dating. So what do you do - lie? No, don't lie. But you should leave out all the negative stuff and talk briefly about your good points and then talk about the kind of woman you'd like to meet.
In all honesty though, your main priorities right now should be sorting out your life away from the internet i.e. getting a job etc etc.
I'm sure you're doing all of that and the good news is you're only 20 years of age so you've plenty of time on your side.

Pics #1, #2 and #3 are all good for primary pics, rotate them weekly. try to lighten #3. Pic #4 with the girl is a bad idea (doesn't matter if it's your sister).
Drink "Often" is not good, especially if underage.
Profession: Job hunting
Interests: "Go-Karts, Astronomy, Stargazing"
You still have serious issues with About Me. You need to be positive and upbeat, show self confidence and self esteem.
Nervous, shy, indecisive, unemployed ("and not going well") and separated parents do not help you. Your brother and sister's status is not necessary, nor are their names in pic captions.
Do not ask them to message you, they know what to do.
There are profile writing tips in the two green posts at the beginning of this forum, read those. You want to be creative, be different and stand out from the other guys.
Don't just search for jobs/schools on the internet. Network with friends and family, meet with college Admissions counselors, walk into businesses, go to your local Job and Family Services office. Under 21 even your High School counselors can still help. | |
