| | Favorite show on SyFy?Page 1 of 1 | | Does anyone have a favorite show that they can watch over and over regardless even if they are repeats?.some of my favorites include School Spirits,Paranormal Witness,Ghosth Hunters,and one of favorites which is Fact or Faked:Paranormal Files(notice the theme that is running here?)which is interesting on how they review videos on the internet and videos sent in by people of all walks of life and then set out to recreate them to see if they are indeed faked using different kinds of tools or if there is a legitimate unexplained reason behind said videos | |

I haven't watched a "network" TV show for....over 15 years. I occassionally sit down for 5 minutes if someone else has something turned on...but
I am a total Star Trek fanatic! I have on DVD....all 3 seasons of The Original Series, all 7 seasons of The Next Generation, and all 7 seasons of Voyager. I also have over 400 Classic Sci-Fi movies on DVD, like...all of the Dracula, Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Werewolf movies. LOL! I even have the original "Swamp Thing" which I bought from Blockbuster as a used DVD right after they started making them pull it from shelves in the U.S. because it wasn't "rated" and had Adrianne Barbeau's boobs in it for like 3 seconds!!!
Since I have both Netflix and Amazon Prime memberships, I NEVER have to watch network TV again!!!! Yeahhhhh!!!! I rotate between Star Trek series....even Deep Space Nine and Enterprise which I don't have on DVD but watch on Netflix or Amazon. I also have all 11 Star Trek full length movies on DVD which I watch for something a little different LOL! My queue on Netflix has in it....a LOT of documentaries...and then...a lot of "kid" stuff for my grandkids.
I need only 2 things on my TV.....Star Trek...and History Channel....LOL! they can keep the rest! | |

Of course I'm refering to Mystery Science Theater.Real campy,low budget.It tested your

Posted: 6/28/2012 2:43:58 PM | The SyFy channel managed to drive me away when they decided to start running "professional Wrestling" shows at night. It's become difficult to find Science Fiction shows of any kind on SyFy.
One show I really liked just got cancelled: Eureka.
I like the newer Doctor Who shows, but SyFy doesn't run them. I like Star Trek NG, but SyFy stopped running them too. At least not while I'm around. And no more reruns of older classics, like Twilight Zone, or the original Outer Limits.
It reminds me of what happened to MTV. They started out as a Music Channel, and eventually substituted so many non music shows, that they really should have dropped the "M" from their name entirely. | |

After seeing so many imitations of Cpt Kirk there are a lot of moments of pure hilarity that aren't supposed to be funny at all.
For example, when Kirk is split into the good and bad Kirk - wow !

The sad thing is none of these shows are science fiction! I miss the days of old when that channel had shows like Lexx, Farscape, Stargate SG1 and Battlestar Galactica. I only watch Eureka and Warehouse 13 now and Eureka just ended. I now know why the name was changed to SyFy. They have dumped most of the real science fiction shows! I can find more sci-fi on TNT... | |

Posted: 7/30/2012 4:07:14 PM | Found "Eureka" as a suggestion on net flix, watched and loved it. I wathed the for seasons in order in a marathon during a work slump, I had to go by season five. Sorry to see it go. I am now going through "Warehouse 13" and like it so far.

For me the worse the acting and special effects the better the movie! Lets not forget about the rare glimpses of actors either on thier way up or out.lol. Love that chnnel! | |
