| | Time for a rewrite.Page 1 of 1 | | I've been on POF in Atlanta for going on a year now, and have found zip, so I figure that it's time for a profile rewrite. Flame away, all criticism will be noted. The more constructive, the better. Please note: " go die in a fire" does not count as constructive. | |

Why not add a few more specifics in your Interests field? Use that to set the tone for your profile and give more clues to commonalities.
You have some very interesting opinions in the other Forums. Sometimes that works to find people with common ideas.
Good luck. | |

| Time for a rewrite. Posted: 7/4/2012 9:13:21 AM | | Get a photo of yourself holding a Barbie doll, MS Paint scribble out the face, and be like "that may or may not be my ex". | |

| Time for a rewrite. Posted: 7/4/2012 9:18:22 AM | | delete the photo of your face in a woman's boobs. you make think it is harmless as she is just a coworker, but women viewing this might not like it. say at least a little bit about what type of woman you are looking for. | |

| Time for a rewrite. Posted: 7/4/2012 9:24:42 AM | Oh, shoot. I've enjoyed your forum posts for so long, I fear it's interfering with my objectivity about your profile.
So, looking for things to pick on as if above weren't true -- here it comes.
Re: photos: Good you've included the full-body shot which people don't always realize is mandatory. That guniea pig is a winner, too. EDIT: disagree with above, your face isn't in anybody's boobs, WTF, but majority rules.
Re: text and photo captions
For my own personal tastebuds -- you're just a hair on the wrong side of trying too hard to be funny. But at least your humor IS funny, and you avoided the classic mistake where we say we are funny and put not a single funny thing in the profile.
I consider the mention of exercise excessively detailed which would raise my antenna as "something to watch" -- is this the reformed whore syndrome where they'll tend to either attempt to reform me too, or soon backslide into their old way of life?
Re: responses Online dating is a hard way to go, and a hard row to hoe. My advice would be to regularly explore outside the ol' comfort zone. For every overly picky person who secretly knows she's completely ordinary, there's another one flying deliberately under the radar. She could post the bombshell boob photos but prefers not to. She could dumb herself down, but doesn't want to have to.
Go get her !! | |

| Time for a rewrite. Posted: 7/4/2012 11:01:18 AM | Great text, Headline and use of humor.
I would change the Fish Personality to "None."
Pics and Interests are where you need to put your effort. <-- click my History for my pic guidelines.
Add a final paragraph about what and who you are looking for.
I don't understand:
oo,
I would personally say: "... both literally and figuratively..."
The more you log in to your Inbox and use the various site functions, the more activity you will get.
