Hi there,

I have started a conversation with someone but when I go into view our messages, especially when a new one has been sent to me, only the first original line is viewable then the content disappears.

Can you please help to rectify?

Is this just one message thread to one person or is this happening on all your messages from other people as well?

If all his messages to you have disappeared it sounds like you might had accidentally blocked him.

If all your messages to him disappeared but his remains it sounds like he blocked you.

Check your blocklist to see if his name is there.

If the message contains a large number of emoticons or graphics this will happen. First try hitting the refresh button. If that doesn't work, and he is in your Favorites, go to Favorites and click the Msg History link on the right and it will appear.

Check your blocklist to see if his name is there.
No she sees a message and when she clicks to view it the contents are blank. So he is not blocked or anything. The message is there. She can see it in her inbox. When she tries to view the contents are blank. This has been complained about a couple times.

It only happens in the Inbox view. It starts to display then something happens like a timeout or overflow situation, then it goes blank. It is not necessarily the content of the single message it is the total content of all the messages on the display screen.

If you have 40 or 50 emoticons in the Inbox, refresh will work. Somewhere around 80-90 emoticons will not work with refresh, but will still display in Msg History view from the Favorites page.

If anyone wants to experiment with it, I can send you a list of 100 emoticons. Let me know.

(It does the same thing to the sender's Inbox.)
