Build up to 155-160 (Well built, less cut, slightly bulky, muscle definition is still clear). Closer to my second picture.
Shed the fat to 140 (Slightly less built, far more cut, much more proportionate size wise, muscle definition is top notch) Closer to my profile picture.

They are going to look for the one she finds more attractive and 10 or 15 lbs is not what she is looking at. Its the piece glued on top of your shoulders.
Your way obsessing over crap that is not that bigf a deal in the big picture. Carry the weight you feel MOST COMFORTABLE with.

Do whatever makes you feel confident and healthy, whether that's 140 or 160 or whatever. People who obsess endlessly over calories while they try to cut those last 5 lbs are kind of a drag.

| Having difficulty with choosing physical aesthetics Posted: 7/6/2012 2:42:31 PM | quote] Which do you all typically like to look at? What do I like to look at? The mirror. Oh besides myself? Hmmm, I'll know when I see it. If you think 10 or 15 lbs is going to make a difference in attracting women, then you'll remain clueless for a long time. The question you asked, is what is important to men...not women. | |

| Having difficulty with choosing physical aesthetics Posted: 7/6/2012 2:47:22 PM | I like big ole boys.
Some women like thin men.
So... why not concentrate on the type of woman you like and go after that. Or are ya playing the field looking at all women??
I like rugged men. A man's man I guess. Not afraid to get dirty but cleans up well. BUt like IVe said in othe threads its more a mental connection. Ive dated all kinds of men over the years. I best attracted to Big boys. Cant exlain why. Had a date with a fella a week ago and he was 5'7 140 lbs soaking wet. He lied to me that he was 5'11 and 165lbs. So, I didnt think much of it til we met. I didnt care that he was whatever size until we met. THEN I see that he lied to me. Big no no. It wasnt that he was a small framed man but that he lied.
Handsome, well groomed, great smile.. but all I could think of was that he lied. Then I thought what if he had been lying about other things? What if he was really seeing someone or married..? What if he didnt really do what he said he did for work? And the whole time all I thought about was the lie.

Besides, women have different types that they go for, so what - are you going to lose 15 pounds to date a girl who likes skinny guys, and then when you break up, gain 20 pounds for the next girl you're into because she likes beefier guys? Makes no sense. Make an effort to look how YOU think is your best, and some women will like you and some won't.

I want to be as physically appealing as possible, but I'm not sure which one will net me greater results,.. The best way I can explain this is:
There are two circles that are full of dots and each dot represents a person (Venn diagram):
Circle #1: There are dots that represent all the girls that you are attracted to.
Circle #2: The dots of all the girls that are attracted to you.
The part where the two circles overlap are girls that you like and also like you, which is very small and the better looking you are the smaller it will be, as all being better looking does is increase the size of circle #2 but decreases the overlap as your standers go up.
By changing your physical appearance you will push some away and add some in, thus a net gain of zero.
So if you want to net greater results you need to learn how to manipulate women and that is done with the mind, not the body.

| Having difficulty with choosing physical aesthetics Posted: 7/8/2012 10:31:13 PM | | You want to be physically appealing as possible to whom? Yourself or to females? And for that matter what one female likes another female isn't going to like. You should do whatever you think is going to make you happiest and feel the best and be healthy and fit. Both of what you described seems like it's pretty healthy though so it's whatever is YOUR preference. | |

Me too.
Your question was; What do you ALL typically like to look at? If you lose weight you'll attract women who like slimmer men. If you gain weight you'll attract women who like bigger men. But you won't be increasing your attraction to encompass ALL women.

Some girls like massively bulky guy, I personally prefer the 'sport' typology of body more then the gym freak.
Probably if you are looking at jersey shore kind of girl you should bulk up, lol
Good luck. | |

It'll take longer, but no reason to just have extra body fat % (well unless you want to , but do it for you, not because someone else will like it).
I went from 190+ to 160 and back up to 170 after I put on some muscle, currently sitting on about 10% body fat, which I'm pretty happy with.
July 2010 vs July 2011. (2nd year progress pic coming at the end of the month)

| Having difficulty with choosing physical aesthetics Posted: 7/9/2012 3:33:47 PM | I like a man who is comfortable in his own skin & doesn't need to ask a dating site how he would look better. I mean this is a loaded question anyway....we cannot even tell what your body type is from the photos now !
Why not look how you want to and be happy with yourself??????
