Party will be at Characters nightclub. 8 pm Sat July 21. Think Beach!!!
BEACH WEAR is encouraged but not mandatory. sandals, swimwear, coverups, shorts, etc.... Dig out some floppy hats, sunglasses and visors!!!!
There will be a few party games, and a drawing.
drink specials, include jello shots, beach punch, wine coolers and beer buckets....
the venue does serve HARD LIQUOR and beer products. Smoking is allowed inside, but they have a very good smoke system to keep the smoke low.

I am hoping all the fun from the past parties continues full force.
Same Place (Characters), New Band (they do more requests) and more fun than EVER!!!!
There will be Alcoholic and non Alcoholic Drink Specials available. Beer and hard liquor are served as this venue!
Party is 18 and up per venue rules. There will be a limited menu available for purchase.
PLEASE check in at the front table!!
Optional nametags and you also need to pick up a ticket for the drawing for a door prize.
USE YOUR HOSTS ans HOSTESSES!!!! Get them to introduce you to someone you like. Again this is a meet and greet. Give everyone a chance, you will meet many single people, both men and women. This is a chance to network to meet people to go do things together as friends and as potential relationships.

Also... Characters nightclub has been super generous to us by providing us a venue with NO COVER CHARGE! PLEASE patronize the club while there.... We (hosts) provide the decorations, name tags, raffles, etc and Characters provides the location. Please be respectful, we would like to continue to have NO COVER CHARGE events at this location!!!!

This is a MEET AND GREET not a spot and stalk!!! :) ok, if you got that joke, it was probably meant for you. This is not about sitting in a corner and watching: Get up , walk around and MEET people! The host/hostesses will be around to facilitate meetings between individuals but unless we start to auction people off (wow, good idea for a later event!!), it is up to YOU to meet people. We facilitate the place, the time, and give as much help as we can. The least you can do is go introduce yourself!!!
PLAN C:
Consider it a networking night. You may meet someone here who you have similar interest with, but are not attracted to. Well, chances are that they have FRIENDS that they do those things with right?? And since that person is at a singles party they must not be interested in their friends "that way" SO become FRIENDS and meet a lot more people! Take a chance in life. Offer to or go with the geekier girl to her dart or pool tournament who knows maybe you will like someone there!
go with the little heavier( than you like} guy to a festival or concert!
Chances are that when you meet THEIR friends ..... you will find your match!!
PLAN D:
BRING your business card or personal introduction card and hand them out! See how many you can collect! ( I think I will have a prize for who collects the most phone numbers that night!)
AND... by the way.... Bring your friends, or the people you used to date.... they may not be right for you, but they may be exactly what someone else is looking for.....

We are encouraging beach wear , sarongs, shorts, etc..
There will be some party games that are OPTIONAL but you might get wet if you choose to participate!

1) make a "business card" of your picture and contact info to hand out to interesting people.
2) look through all the profiles of people going and make a note of the ones that appeal to you - I have found 4 gentlemen I'm going to specifically look for ;-)
3) send the link to this event to POF'ers that you're interested online and invite them, too!

i believe this link works for this event without hving to be a POF member. the last 2 POF meets at this location were also open to the public (ie non-POF folks were in this locale (Characters)
