| | Not having any luckPage 1 of 1 | For every 20 messages sent, I get MAYBE 3 replies that doesn't last very long lol. I tried everything from long, deep messages, to short, to the point messages and nothing seems to be working. I know my profile isn't the best and neither are my pictures, but I must be missing something or doing something wrong. It seems the more messages I send out and only get a profile view, the more I want to throw in the towel (once again). Any help will be greatly appreciated, I'll take any advice!

Posted: 7/9/2012 6:51:48 PM | If it were that simple lol. The pictures are hard for me to take, I was told out doors was the best to take pictures, but I'm not around during the day time until the evening when I'm just too exhausted to take pictures.
I'll work on my profile.. Any good guidelines out there that walk you through it step by step? | |

Posted: 7/9/2012 7:07:30 PM | Try the PROFILE REVIEW forum. They have guides and you can ask for advice there. We are really not supposed to review profiles here. Look you need to get a friend to help with the pics. They are really that important here. You need to use a CAMERA not a phone. TAke at least 20 new pics. Full length and closeup. Inside and outside. No self pics in a mirror etc... Pick the very vest EIGHT pics! I cant emphasize enough how important the pics are.

As for messages, is there a certain structure or special way to start them? Usually I've just been saying things along the line:

I'll go read the profile and, if I like it, I'll send a reply and ask a question relating to something in the profile.
If I get "thanks, I'm fine" or similar in return that pretty much kills off the conversation as I feel I'm making all the effort. | |
