| | Is this a "go away" type commentPage 1 of 1 | I've a few conversations with this one lady, the conversation seems to be going well, then I get a reply back saying that her sister is in town for the whole week so she won't be talking to me until her sister leaves. But when I get on line I have noticed that she is still active on here daily.
Is she trying to tell me to Go Away???

Posted: 7/14/2012 2:33:40 PM | You might be fooled by the technology, first of all. Apparently, depending on how she logs in, a person will show logged on, simply because they turned their cell phone on.
Past that, you have a very simple way to find out: wait until the sister leaves, and see if things pick up again. If yes, you are back where you were, wherever that was. If not, you know you are done-ski. | |

It's possible that what she was trying to say to you is that she can't necessarily reply to you in a timely manner. If she's like me, she may very well leave windows open on her computer, which would explain why she seems to be online. Go with your gut based on previous conversations. Better yet, just wait until the week's up and see what happens. I think if she wanted to give you the brush off, she would have told you so and not just said "I can't talk to you for x number of days". But that's just based on what I'd do. It seems silly to tell someone you'll be MIA for a while unless you're just going to be MIA. | |
