| | My Conversations QuestionPage 1 of 1 | In the inbox you have the "My Conversations". At first i guessed Green light beside name meant they was online but if you check the Viewed me there not online So which one is correct and if they are offline what does the green mean?
Also is Green = Online then what desides if chat option is there or not?
Did try the help section but didnt come across any thing

Posted: 7/15/2012 2:02:46 PM | The names shown in 'My conversations' are indeed those people who you have previously exchanged a message with who are currently on-line BUT, if they use the Phone App, they can be logged in automatically when near a Wifi network and they can also be shown as on line for approx. 15 minutes after signing out.
Don't get thrown by the Viewed Me and their non-appearance on that list. There is a setting which many people choose which means no record is available if they looked at your profile so the Viewed Me is an incomplete list.
Regarding whether the Chat option is there or not, again, it's a setting which users can select so others can't initiate a conversation with them. Lots of women do this as showing as available to chat results in lots of requests to do so, even from those who have not previously sent a message.
And the information is certainly in the Help section but you need to know where to look. I find this thread a great starting place for all functionality based questions.
