Posted: 7/18/2012 7:36:27 PM | First...you should do a thread search since every day about 100 men post similar posts. :) From what I've read...on average men get a response from about 5% of the emails they send out.
Second...put your profile under the profile review section. A couple notes...not sure what you are actually looking on here, but get rid of the pics with your bikes, the ferrari, and the cheesy t shirt. Most girls don't care what you drive and flashy vehicles give off the impression you are either compensating for something or too into materialistic stuff. Cheesy t-shirts with sayings about sex make it seem like that's what you are after. It's okay if you want to wear them, but ease a girl into it. Also, more detail for sure in your profile. Women will look first at your pics, and if they are attracted to your pics they will actually read your profile. You need to win them on both areas to get a response.

Posted: 7/19/2012 8:43:43 PM | To a point, I'd keep the cars. I have seen a lot of women mention that they like cars, and/or fast cats, and go to car shows. In my case, it is my hobby to build customs show cars from the Movies - it is what I do - and not a compensation for something else.
I always think that the women's email page must be SO filled with message, that yours are left in the shuffle and never even seen. They have to pick one, respond to it, and then maybe try to stay focus to that one, until they know if they want to continue. By the time they get to yours, it could be weeks later! lol | |

Posted: 7/20/2012 6:31:42 PM | Well if you are not Channing Tatum level, pretty much you will get 5 replies out of every 100 messages you send on here (stats I have seen from previous posts). Main thing is put a lot of good pics up and write a entertaining profile and keep sending those messages. Even with the best profile written in recorded history you may not get many responses, depending on your area. Depending on your area, it could be a ratio of 12 men to 1 woman. I may be legit the most ugly guy in POF history on here, I will get about 1-2 emails per day from women. When I send a message, more like 1 reply out of 35...

Seriously, unless you can find a site that caters to "Jamaican men and the women who love them" then you are not alone, many men on here send out numerous emails with no/very few replies. I didn't think your pics were as bad as some do but maybe add a few more and don't lose hope. Remember women get many emails so it may be they just haven't read yours yet. | |
