Op, will you coach your future daughter to just let it all loose, or will you coach her to find a man she is in love with, and who loves her for sex?
Until parents stop treating thier daughters this way, this issue will never go away...and I have never met a man, who would pat his babygirl on the back in the same manner he would his son for being horny and getting laid.
I am not blaming men here, it is cultural...but Dads dont want to know thier daughter is spreading her legs 'all the time'.
Not to mention, 1 mistake and daddys little girl is stuck for 18-20 years raising a child while the male in the equation can keep on living as normal and just write a check every month if he so chooses. Most parents end up helping the daughter who finds herself in that situation, so it is prudent to coach her to be selective.

Yes, I didn't coach my daughters to go out and get a guy any way they can. Of course I didn't tell my son to do that either.

There are real, biological differences between the sexes, that we are forever challenging, sometimes with good results, sometimes with not so good results. If you are hot for a guy you will do ANYTHING to get into his pants..BUT...here's the rub..you're going to usually want some sort of emotional commitment from him...something to tell you he will continue to love and care abotu you, even if you never did. I remember a recently divorced friend tell me that women would throw themselves at him, beg him only for this one time, that they would never bother him again...then....of course....here comes the e-mails, the phone calls, the awkward coldness in the elevator, etc.
Women are told to act and treat sex like a man would..spontaneous, not a thought about the afterwards, just for fun. Well, sorry kids, we secrete a number of "bonding" hormones that keep us hopeful and attached and it can be torture. This is in place for a reason...because even with birth control, we still have 10,000 year old brains, and women need to know that man she may have made a child with is gong to stick around for a while. It's really that simple.
Men and women are different for a reason. Sure, the horniness is there...the expectations are different. | |

I know a guy could be at work & look at girl w a tight blouse or able to see some cleavage and get hard. More than once a day. If I see a cute guy I wouldn't get wet or a tingly clit unless I knew him or have a relationship with him. But not.really random strangers. For the other guys say I visit them at work or we're hanging out I can watch him & get very excited. Watching him walk in the cute way he does. Or how he does other ordinary things that for what ever reason turn me on.
A bit off topic but a big difference I have found is with masturbating. At least the guys I talk to will masturbate looking at a picture. Staring at one picture even. When I do I just get into the feeling. Another thing is the amount of times a day guys get hardons and/or masturbate in one day. Every day. I don't know many girls like that. But a penis sticks out all the time & gets hard for no real reason too so it's harder to ignore then a clit lol.
Men & women are so different sexually I think that a lot of women don't understand or even know that much about men that it causes problems. I also think many, many, many men think women are the them sexually & that causes misunderstandings. There are women who are more similar but the majority. There are a few issues that prevent women from showing their sexuality to the degree that men do: Unwanted pregnancy and judgement from a society that calls us a slut or a whore if we follow all of our sexual desires without shame.
Haven't you heard the saying that some men use about a woman needing to be "a lady on the street and a whore between the sheets"? It's generally not OK for us to be that open with our sexuality because we're judged harshly for it...much more harshly than men are judged. I also believe that women don't embrace their sexuality and their sexual desires until a bit later in life. In high school, I had zero interest in sex even though I did like guys and dated plenty of them. Once I hit my twenties and beyond, I fully embraced my wants and desires and came to not care what society thought about me.
Edited to add: If you think women aren't capable of having sex just for the sheer pleasure of sex without the need to get emotions all tied into it, you're 100% wrong. | |
