| | Shootin' blanksPage 1 of 1 | As you can tell, my profile is pretty short. Drawing blanks though as what to fill in. Brainstorming, that was about all I could come up with. (Couldn't really even come up with anything for first date really).
That being said, just looking for some suggestions as to what I can throw in there.

| Shootin' blanks Posted: 7/21/2012 11:05:54 PM | Your username indicates you're just here for the forums. Fix that first.
Replace any photos that are out-dated with new ones.
Add some non-generic Interests in that field.
Getting around on a bicycle may not be an issue for you, but a girl is not likely to want to sit on your handlebars for a date. Clarify that, or remove the info about being able to get around as it's irrelevant to actually dating.
First date? Why not something simple like pub & pints, beverages on a patio and people-watching? If the weather co-operates, a bike ride?

| Shootin' blanks Posted: 7/21/2012 11:24:32 PM | remove the first two pictures. The serious face and the one holding a gun. You dont need to talk about not having a car.. just say you like biking. Also, be a little bit more funny in the profile :) | |

| Shootin' blanks Posted: 7/22/2012 6:46:47 AM | Yea, not officially started back yet, was gonna change the name back when the profile was complete. Was here for just the forums for a pretty long while.
As for the photos all of those are less than 3-4 months old, not really any of them outdated, nuked the airsoft one though (really only put it because it was the only full body shot that wouldn't have been a horrible crop job)
As far as the bicycle part, I added it because I go to the ask a girl forums from time to times and 90% of them say they wouldn't date a guy who doesn't have a car/skips their profile almost instantly because they don't want to be a personal taxi, hence the getting around on my own even though my profile says I have no car (lol definitely no plans to put anyone on my handlebars.) I was under the impression that without some sort of indication that I wouldn't be needing rides all the time, that I'd just get skipped over.
Went ahead and threw something in the first date for now.
Not really sure how to be funny via text though. Just all comes out unnatural when I type it, so still unsure in regards to adding humor to my profile.

| Shootin' blanks Posted: 7/22/2012 7:17:24 AM | | So you still have that big hair? | |
|
| Shootin' blanks Posted: 7/22/2012 7:30:06 AM | | It's actually about half way between my main pic and that pic right now. My hair grows pretty quickly (both of those pics were in June) so one month it may be pretty tall and others it may be as short as my main pic (and again right now it's about in the middle and that's only a month later). Still a recent pic though | |

You don't need to be a hunk or rich to be successful on here. You need to be different, creative and stand out from the crowd. Show personality!

-Puts on flame suit- Do not listen to that crap. But dont advertise it your without a car. Most men and women here are window shopping as if they are building a Ken/barbie doll so you'll get written off without them experiencing you as a person. I think this is TOTALLY unfair.

| Shootin' blanks Posted: 7/22/2012 6:34:23 PM | "But dont advertise it your without a car"
It's kinda mandatory without lying. "Do you have a car? No" is right in your profile as a requirement, which is the only reason I really felt the need to explain it. I wish it said "Do you have transportation" instead or something.
