| | Unable to upload images from any devicePage 1 of 1 | My files are the correct format, resolution, file size, and compression ratio.
I've tried 3 browsers with extensions disabled. I've tried all of the formats supported.
When I go to upload an image, it very briefly attempts to upload then I get a message that says "Error: true" and that's it. I'm assuming no one has had the problem before, yet was wondering if anyone has any ideas??

Posted: 7/24/2012 5:27:48 PM | Go get a couple beers from the fridge and try back in a few hours. If its still stuck try again in 24 hours. The pic servers here take a dump fairly often. There is no fix on your end. All you can do is wait it out. Usually but not always its cleared up in 24 hours.
Just relax and try again later. If you are positive your pics are all valid, sized right, correct extension etc.. then you are done. Just try again every so often. Nothing you can do to fix the problem. Hey if you go to the kitchen for a beer grab me one too.

Posted: 7/25/2012 6:17:30 AM | Listen this entire site has been throwing up for at least 2 days with all kinds of far more serious server errors. Profiles are not accessible at all for many off and on all day lone for at least the last 48 hours.
Pic upload is not at the top of their priority list at the moment to address I'm sure. They need to focus on stabilizing the site and keeping it online and profiles accessible for the moment.
Cheers. Crap I need another beer to now and I am not even trying to upload pics

Posted: 8/4/2012 1:23:47 PM | The way to delete photos is simple to click on the garbage can icon by the side of the appropriate photo.
I've downloaded two new pictures in the last two days, no issues, no hassle.
I'm downloading from a standard jpeg file off my pc hard drive, originally downloaded raw from a cheap Pentax digital camera.
I'm forced to the conclusion that either I'm lucky, or you have a problem...hows about talking us thru what equipment you are using, and someone tech-savvy might have some ideas?

My pc is down at the moment so i might have to pop to my friends tomorrow and try through hers and see if it works then :-/
Another thing though, how come on my nokia i can write in forums but when i reply to someone it shows up in mumble jumble like Japanese writing? Is this just a thing with Nokia's? Cause i know there is no pof app for the nokia's :-( xx | |
