| | Why would a girl ask me to chat, then ignore me?Page 1 of 1 | | So this girl messaged me, i checked out her profile and liked it. I responded and we ended up messaging back and forth for 2 hours. We exchanged only our first names, but made plans to meet the next night on the site. She didnt show up that night so i sent a simple message " i was here" type thing, and have sent a follow-up "i would still like to talk sometime". But still nothing. Am i being paranoid or did she have second thoughts or something? I really liked this girl, i feel we connected and don't want to mess it up by messaging to much or something. Any ideas? | |

Maybe 'she' was a guy you were chatting with and he was having a bit of fun with you. Maybe he and his pals showed up where you were to meet and they had a good old laugh at you.
You can't be too careful on here!

Posted: 7/25/2012 4:03:47 PM | | give her time for whatever she's doing. i've chatted with some ladies on here and sometimes they just take a little longer to reply back. unless she blocked you, i wouldnt worry about it. besides you dont want to seem needy, do you?

| Why would a girl ask me to chat, then ignore me? Posted: 7/25/2012 4:42:11 PM | | Honestly, I've been that girl you're describing and the only thing I can say is that I was unsure about whether or not I wanted to meet the guy. Sometimes it was cause I was lazy and didn't want to drive for 30 minutes to meet the guy, other times I just wasn't feeling it (maybe it was that time of the month). But that's just me. I'm sure others are fickle as well. But ... when the guys were persistant, I ended up going to meet up with them and had a great time. So if she's really worth it give her a shot and try harder. | |

You need to relax. It doesn't matter "why". Some people are like that. They are there one minute and gone the next.

| Why would a girl ask me to chat, then ignore me? Posted: 7/26/2012 12:14:17 AM | | Dont worry about it. Women on here are weird like that. Pof is a joke and so are most of the women on it. They use this site as a ego booster. Dont take it personal. Retarded people do stuff like that. Pof is horrible...well, the people I should say. | |

| Why would a girl ask me to chat, then ignore me? Posted: 7/27/2012 1:06:17 AM | | After a 2 hr conversation you should be asking for her number or asking to meet or both. She probably changed her mind on you. People can do that. Whether her intuition is right or wrong is irrelevant. In any event you can't mess up what's already broken. Another question would by why do you even want to still talk to a girl that makes plans and doesn't stick to them? Ask yourself how important it is for you that a girl any girl sticks to her word. | |

| Why would a girl ask me to chat, then ignore me? Posted: 7/27/2012 1:50:37 PM | | Maybe life got in the way, as it does quite often. She might have gone out, might have been taken to hospital with an infected foot, might have had to visit her mother, might have suddenly discovered the light in the kitchen had gone out and went to buy a light bulb, might've started a discussion with another person on pof, might've been really really tired and gone to sleep, might've been watching television ..... any hundred of reasons might've happened. | |

A better question is, why do women think it's ok to just disappear instaed of politely saying "sorry, I decided I'm not interested"...
How funny…..men do it too. It’s easier to be a coward.
