And maybe some of you out doing something fun. Dont need cars and football but it doesnt hurt haha. The one fella is going to post and tell you to look at his history because he has a post on photos. Its a good point of reference =)

Posted: 7/26/2012 4:47:02 PM | My preference is a nice face photo or two, at least one head-to-toe shot and maybe a couple of you out doing things you enjoy but if your friends are in the picture to, be sure to write in the caption which one is you. (it's so annoying when women have girlfriends that look similar to them in a photo and don't point out which one is them)
Depending on what car you put in your profile, cars guys may be more interested in it than you, lol. | |

Typically you want to have a full body shot in your portfolio. I've seen some photos that looked great from the waist up, but below that everything changed. Significantly.
There can be more to a picture than looking good. I use to have a photo of a puppy licking my cheek that attracted emails. I'm not one to contact women, but when something catches my eye I will. Like a place or activity I can identify with. Remember, you are one of thousands in a catelogue that people are leafing through. The first thing that catches their attention is the picture. If the picture grabs their attention then they are more likely to read your profile. Then maybe they will contact you.
It's great that you are asking. I always suggest being very thoughtful with the pictures as they are the most important part of your profile. | |

Knock off the gol'-flippin' bathroom shots and car shots. Just like with the breasts, I'll take it for granted you have a bathroom and a car, so I don't need to see either. Do you have a pet? Show me a picture of you WITH the pet (I look at those pretty closely... it's a "she's got a good heart" thing I'm looking for in those cases). Do you have kids? I know, I know... rapists and perverts, bla bla bla... but personally, I'd like to see you with your family to get an idea of whether or not you LIKE your family... or if they like YOU.
What I don't need, and what I'm frankly sick of, are bikini shots, "I'm trying to look sexy" shots that really suck, and football-jersey shots.
My personal preference, though not popular (not that I care anyway), is if you hunt, post a picture -- because if you're with me and you don't hunt, you're not going to be (with me).

If you almost never dress fancy, only one photo out of the eight should be in the fancy clothes.
Soneone who goes out to bars / clubs a lot can have at least half the pics in those locales.
If at least half the pics are travel / vacation, the user is likely to travel a lot (back button for me).
A homebody can have most pics inside at home.
For me to believe a claim a user has outdoor interests, there should be outdoor pics, in your case a rafting photo.
I prefer everyday shots over glamour shots.
Those with pets should have photos with the pets (my favorite photos).
It is best to look better in real life so if you meet someone in person, they can have a positive reaction to the real life person.
One photo of you at a car show should be good, in front of a vehicle you find interesting. One photo in front of your bike. | |
