Posted: 7/29/2005 1:07:08 PM | Since this is about fantasy...I already know what I would do if I won the powerball, if that is the same. I would own a small cafe/gourmet foods store. I would just sell simple to go meals for tourists on the run who want to eat well and quick. You know salads, soups and sandwiches with outdoor seating. I would also sell the best smoothies and fruit juices on the islands! I would have the store right on Kuhio Highway with the property stretching down to the beach where I would grow many of the fruits and avocados for the store and hopefully my own home would be somewhere between the store and the beach so I could walk to work to make hot foods and soups and go spend the rest of the day on the beach myself hunting for uhu or weke ula maybe use a tank to get the deeper snapper fishes, onaga and opakapaka. They are the best snappers on the planet bra!

Ya know how everytime ya go out to eat most people ask or offer a taste of their entree.
Well how about a joint that has a small sectioned out plate for say two or three separate tiny portions. That way the presentation can plated with a taste of everyone's entree.

OK, I have been putting off mine and its not too grand. Keeping it simple, and I actually see it happening.
I would like a cross between a bistro (and I hate the French, so I will keep that low key), a coffee house, a gadget and book store. Sound confusing? Naw.
The bistro would have a seperate entrance, really simple. The fare might be country Italian, wines, coffee and baked goods, local and homemade cheeses. Wondeful specials, whatever looked good that day at the market. Inexpensive. Attached you could walk through to a coffee/ wine room where entertainment is provided some nights. Low key stuff. Maybe even an old movie on a big plasma once in a while. Then you could walk through to a kitchen supply area and small bookroom. Demonstrations and classes once in a while.
I see a converted building or small group of buildings with hardwood and a cozy feel. One stop shop.
Sound busy? I would hope so! Might work in a upscale urban area. Something for everyone.

Posted: 8/1/2005 4:08:11 PM | hmmm this could take awhile first you would walk into the resteraunt and see big cusiony seats that are low to the ground as our loung spinning tables as you are seated by exsotic waitresses/and waiters as you get comfertable you or given menus that have every exsotic foods from all over the world including big juicy steaks. but low inbehold the prices of the food wont coast an arm and a leg. then after ordering your food and drinks a theatrical play is shown for entertainment. after the play and you have finished eating you are given a choice to move to the outside part where it looks like the garden of eddian wear your fanned and feed grapes if you choice to stay inside you are given a shoulder and kneck massauge
as for my role hmmm i would be in the back watching over every thing and serounded by hunkes | |

lol doesnt sound like it would be too profitable b/c people would be eating then sleeping then eating some more and sleeping some more.....
