|Happy hearts, (skipping, giggling) |
Chasing bubbles of laughter across the lawn.
(Searching, hiding) shouting a silly song.
So tender sweet the light of wonder
In the face of the youngest child
Who’s determined to tag along.
Watching, big eyed, trying to keep up,
Static with excitement, enjoying his glad filled cup.
He braves each step, though tumbling,
To join the fun, (pretend, explore)
Such courage the tiny tot displays,
As he brushes off his knees to hurry after more.
