Posted: 8/1/2005 6:09:25 PM | world population i way too high nowadays, so therefore lots of problems, there is going to be a global castrophiy in the next many years
i believe a global pandemic, will happen, a huge sickness might wipe out the lots of the population, might not happen from huge war or terrorists
however this might be a good thing, if the population is lowered by several billion people
then the earth will last a longer time
and the people who are remaining here will be happier , with more resources and space for them. its true fact, for those of u who live in big cities like LA, new york or toronto, just think how much better things would be with less people there
so thats my 2 cents
the population must shrink or else everything is done for, but how do we do it
some suggestions 1 = nuke and level all the bad countries
2 = starvation and problems in africa and other 3rd world countries, cut off the supplies and let nature take its course
3 = usa and everyone pull out of iraq and middle east and see what happens
4- cut off the worlds oil supply, and only the strong will survive
5 = send all the immigrants out of the countries back to where they came from
what other suggestions do u people have

1) UN funded (but not limited to) vasectomies and tubal ligations with a target of at least 1 billion people by 2020. (these processes are reversible so that when we need to colonize the galaxy we'll be able to regenerate pop levels)
2) UN funded (but not limited to) male and female contraceptives (for as many can be afforded) distributed worldwide.
3) Mandatory 100 million orphan children must be adopted by 2020 so as to fill the void that many childless couples experience as an incentive to refrain from bringing new souls into this planet.
Hows this sound? (Please dont be harsh....my sensitive feelings are at stake).  | |

So, basically you are advocating the old "survial of the fittest" adage. Sure, why not? Let us undo all the good we have tried to establish in the world. Who would decided who lives or dies? Duh! I forgot, the wealthier nations! That's because we are presently near the top of the food chain. That would be just so wonderful having that extra seat at the bar or theatre, while humans are dying by starvation due to our withholding any assistance. I have always been the most proudest of being a citizen of a highly developed country when we focus on helping the whole human race.
The problem with option #4 is that if your country does not seize the world's oil supply before cutting off other nations, eventually it also will be your friends and loved ones who must be "weeded" out for the survial of a nation.
Option #5, well, I cannot sit here and say I have not thought that! But, I eventually come to my senses and dismss these thoughts.
Mother nature seems to step in and sadly helps alleviate some of the problem of over population. Of course education and contraceptives is a step in the right direction. But, as always, if we spent more effort towards this problem, and less time bickering and blowing each other up, we could come to a sane and logical answer to this problem.

Socialists are always saying stuff like this. The complain that everyone needs a helping hand up until society becomes socialist, then, they complain there are to many people drawing on the social trough we need to kill people.

I believe it has everything to do with it. Terrorist regimes (muslims) breed like rabbits. They do not have one or two kids on the average like we do in North America. They immigrate to our countries and proceed to do thier mass breeding here. The city of Toronto alone is getting flooded with with them. Muslims' average household size is 4.9 persons, "Christian" average household size is 2.4. That makes muslim's double. Canada doesn't need anymore immigrants to come over and over populate our country like they have thier own.

We should all focus on buying and using only what we need (as a start).
Interesting theory 13th. So, we can take and use Arab oil but they shouldn't be able to live here. We should be able to buy diamonds, silicone (for computers among other things) and whatever else gets mined out of Africa for a cheaper than cheap price but not allow any of those citizens to live here. And since when is 4.9 a flood of people? 2.4 is an average (probably derived from statistics that included immigrants), not the exact size if each house, which also includes the non-immigrant families with four children, five children, six children, 7 children. | |

Your population stats are in error also ...the fastest growing ethnic group in North America today, especially the United States, are Latinos of Mexican origin ...most follow Catholicism.
As for 911, your information is flawed again ...911 was a crime perpetrated against America by its own government military complex ...to further the agenda of empire.

No, I don't think we should allow anymore immigrants in here. Canada actually has enough oil to sustain ourselves, and even if we didn't, we send millions of dollars in aid for these foreigners. 4.9 people is an understatement! Often they have more. It's not a flood of people when you look individually, but locally, yes it is. Toronto Ontario, as I said, is getting flooded with muslims. Population of muslims in Toronto has gone up in the last decade to become 1/3rd of Toronto's population. Years ago there were not that many.

Ok, you may be right there, but when I think Muslim, I think of MIDDLE EAST. Especially since I do not know one single white person who is a muslim, though I am sure they do exist.

I was on the ttc (our transit system) the other day, and I was the only white person on every bus I took. 20 years ago this was definately not so, so I know for a fact just by walking up the streets of toronto that muslims are breeding fast in our city. You dont even need to see statistics to see it with your own eyes.

As far as 9-11, that is debatable. You think its a government conspiracy...I do not. I think the muslims have been plotting this for years. This topic however is not about 9-11 so I won't go into that here. On the over-population area, if people want to over-populate thier own countries, then go ahead...but we in Canada only have 32 million; lots of wide open green space for our citizens to enjoy. I'd hate to see it demolished like other countries. For hundreds of years Canadians have managed to sustain themselves without using up too much of our resources, then along come all these foreigners, and they start bringing in people by the dozens, having more and more kids. Once again your ignorance shines allow me to elaborate:
1. You classify Sikhs as Muslims. Enough said.
2. "Eastern Country peoples" what does that even mean, you show consistent confusion between the mid east, southeast asian, the far east, orient etc.
3. Didn't you say you're half native on some other thread, if thats true I don't exactly see what is "your kind."
4. How are you being pushed out of "your" country. Newsflash you don't own this country, you maybe a Canadian citizen but its not "your" country. At least not anymore than any other Canadian citizen.
5. I don't know about you but most people I know don't worry about constant terrorist threats were I live (Vancouver) unless they are a bit messed up upstairs.
If we continue to let it happen, we will one day be a middle eastern dominated country.

If you're going to make such ridiculous generalizations I suggest you start by backing them up with some sort of factual basis. Although I'm skeptical that you can do this, the simple fact that you can post messages would indicate that you are able to read. For a first step I suggest you pick up an atlas and locate the middle east on the map and take note of which countries make up the middle east.

You are realistic, and the first I've heard on the forums to mention the chaos this is already causing due to the selfish need of sex-driven maniacs who can't even afford to take care of themselves, much less the poor children they put on this man-eating earth. Certainly, the lax immigration policies are destroying America, and no one is doing anything worthwhile about it. The only people who are trying to intercept and turn back illegals crossing without border checks are The Volunteer Minutemen who are being termed as "vigilantes" by our President. Vicente Fox must be reveling in his victory of winning the silent invasion of American and destruction forthcoming. I think all Americans should quit paying taxes, if a group of millions would protest this travesty. The health care system is being destroyed, jobs lost by the millions, and other who say we must have free trade which is destructive to America as it is encouraging Slavery in countries who use labor cheap, and like dirt to gain wealth and cheap goods. That will come to a halt soon. As the huge labor force of 'baby boomers" age to lose their jobs, and be forced into financial disasters and health issues, nobody will be here to help them. The rich get richer, and the middle class goes down the tubes. That's what's happening, and yet we have idiots who believe the poor foreign laborers will somehow be of help?? They pay no taxes, yet want all health benefits, and crowd the emergency rooms. The Southwest is being taken over once again by Mexico, and the trend is spreading like a cancer againest all Caucasions who paid taxes for years, only to find their promised benefits, which they paid for, being taken away.
