| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 9:23:48 AM | I have read most of the Relationship threads and it seems pretty consistent for most of the females. Endless lists of compatibility traits required, but, then, Admit, there has to be a 'physical' attraction as well. However, it winds up with "I want to have the 'Inner Me' " seen too. Well, I've been looking at some of the recently posted 'COUPLES' photos! Some one is looking WAY, WAY, WAY 'IN! So it would seem that Females ARE getting what they want.... are the Women too? | |

So there is much blabber about the perfect guy, yet, when you see what they TAKE, most should heartened that they CAN make the cut.

| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 9:56:30 AM | | lol - isn't that what most women have been trying to say???? He only needs to be perfect in my eyes only.... | |
|
| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 10:01:00 AM | Personally I don't think Goerge Clooney is all that--I'd take Andy Garcia any day.....but women do rule!! | |

| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 10:01:47 AM | | Yes, that is the conundrum. What IS perfect in Females eyes may not be in a Woman's..But it the complex assertions of what that 'perfect' is that boils down to takes about anything..Why not be 'sensible' up front? | |
|
| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 10:07:27 AM | | LOL - why kiss the prince when we really seek the frog kinda thing? Perfect to me is not necessarily someone I can live with - it is someone I cannot live without (how many times you seen THAT one)...... | |

| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 11:16:56 AM | I think hes trying to argue that women should not go for thier ideal mate and just settle?? Beauty is truely in the eye of the beholder and what is beautifull to some may not be to others. Just because someone is good looking doesn't mean they are not the one for you and you should just settle for what ever. There does have to be an attraction there but I believe that its mainly attitude and personality that mainly attracts. I have dated some seriously beautifull women and some that others would concider to be plain. Since I am not all that good looking its due to my attitudes and personality. All women are beautifull in my eyes except the truely ugly from the inside.
Doc..please..get help..seriously...

| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 11:20:45 AM | Gremlin... If YOU have dated 'seriously' beautiful women, you must make extraordinarly good money. I'm not arguing they SHOULD settle, they, apparently, DO settle.
SI- "3" and a wake up! ;) | |
|
| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 11:22:38 AM | some of us don't have to settle, gremmy. i guess we're the lucky ones
i do agree with you about personality and attitude being what mainly attracts. or at least it SHOULD be what attracts.
i just find it absolutely hilarious that someone who lacks beauty inside and out thinks they have the right to be judging others.
a 3? so sleeping alone again tonight, doc?

| A Stranger in a Strange Land Posted: 8/2/2005 11:27:05 AM | | I am not saying that any one should just settle SiC, far from it. No doc I dont make the big bucks, yet. They went out with me because they liked me. I made them laugh and feel good about themselves. I didn't treat them as objects and valued thier opions. For various reasons it didn't work out but that is life. The secret is...now don't tell any one this..treat people as you want to be treated and watch the responce you will get. | |
