close second, Cal Ripkin Jr.. played about a million games in a row without missing any. even busted his nose about ten minutes before game time and still played. a record that will never be broken.....EVER. | |

Example
Golf - Tiger Woods
Hockey - Wayne Gretsky
Basket Ball - Michael Jordan
Football - Joe Montana
Baseball - Babe Ruth
Nascar - Dale Ernhart Sr.
Bicycling - Lance Armstrong
Soccer - Pele`
Wrestling - Hulk Hogan (altough wrestling isn't really a competitive sport. It's sports entertainment).
Skateboarding - Tony Hawk
Adult Films - John Homes (isn't sex as physically draining as any professional sport?)
Even at that one would argue that there were better players in their respective sport than those I have mentioned. Woods and Jordan are the only ones that i think a vast majority of the public would agree with. | |

Yes, tony hawk is freakin amazing at skating, however he will never be as legendary as Jay Adams, Tony Alva and last but certainly not least... Rodney Mullen.
Tony hawk could never in his lifetime do the technical tricks that Rodney Mullen can.
