| What is your current cell phone ringer, and why did you pick it ?
Posted: 8/6/2005 1:44:45 AM | O.K. , It's not the deepest philisophical thread topic ever seen here - but I have seen worse.  Mine is the theme from The Great Escape.
I downloaded it after my divorce, as a subtle way to remind me to keep pushing towards freedom and liberation - and to never stop being creative towards any challenge that faces me.
Plus, there is pretty much zero chance of anyone else in the crowd having that one.
And sorry for posting this in the wrong forum area mods, I thought I was in Off Topic - sigh.

many friends have their own songs/tones...
and if I am with a gal...well, she gets her own ringer...lol....you know...after I am able to tell what song suites her......ummmmm...personality...you know....yeah..personality...

the ringer for my daughters is i think i love you...david cassidy...the song drives them crazy!
for my sweetie...wal mart parking lot...joe nichols...since we kinda met at wal mart.
and for my parent days of our lives theme...they are addicted to that soap.

__Yesterday was a bad day sort of. My glasses also fell apart, customer's orders went missing, delivery drivers did stupid things, customers had the strangest requests. Black Friday it seem. I laugh through it all.

the 1st one kept working just fine, i only had to replace the battey. the 2nd was completely shot, wouldn't even power on. the 3rd one didn't work for the first 3 or 4 hours but then began to work. by that time though i had already put in a claim with the cell insurance people and paid my $50 deductible so it was a moot point. got a new one anyway. less than a month later, i left it on top of my car and forgot it was there...it was a bad day, i was p*ssed and drove off. phone survived being run over, still worked but the lcd display was shot so i have yet another new phone. d*mn i'm hard on phones huh?
OT: love fun ringers and am hoping to find some ideas for a new one in the thread. much as i love six feet under i'm ready for a change. | |

THey should automatically, when in a movie theatre or regular theatre, switch the ringtone to the sound of passing gas.
I do believe that we would have a lot less thoughtless people in both places, and be able to enjoy our films and plays a lot more - either way.
I'd call it the Whoopee Cushion Bylaw. | |

Nice improvement Doc, living proof why men indeed should run the world.
The first day it passes, I am finding the most expensive place in Montreal. Perhaps the highest priced tickets to the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. No matter what they play, it will sound like the 1812 Ouverture.
It would be like a living Marx Brother's film, will all the socialites blushing when lil' Hillary calls Mommy.
