that is of course a general statement, but one with which I agree. I have friends from 20's to 40's in ages from Denmark , Ireland ,and Netherlands. One lives in NYC winters and Denmark summers cause she can afford to. I love my friends and envy their general effortless beauty. Little make-up if any and a much healthier diet. I think there are gorgeous women in the USA. Other countries argue that the most beautiful are indeed here..but alas the grass is always greener eh? It's just my opinion that here we are too obsessed with enhancing and being what we arent with make-up , boob jobs etc. we dont age gracefully here for the most part and that is because it isn't looked at as a beautiful thing. SO superficial. Altho I have to tell you my one danish friend just got breast implants in Ny a few months ago ( It was so contradictive to herself ) the health nut and yoga instructor!, That showed me how our society messes us up. I was born in Ireland , and see myself how hard it is to be a woman here. Terrible pressure to be something youre not. You say women look more youthful ...I'll tell you a secret, it's strength of self and passion for life. Look at some women who I think were beauties Audrey Hepburn? kathryn Hepburn?? Maureen O'Hara??? even in their old age they are radiant..It's not their make-up lol .I have been here longer so I strive to hold the simplicity that my mother has. To me she is a beauty at 75. Still sparkles. But that comes from within a peace with who you are. ( I desire that for myself ) This opens another view which isnt as much an inner struggle to those born in countries where their ancestry thrives. Sorry..I can get off on different veins of this. But on topic ~ I agree women in general are more secure and it shines in other countries, but to be fair..It is the society that envelopes them that contributes to how they feel about themselves, how they carry themselves , how they look. Perhaps Larry, you are just one who likes what he perceives as different. That's fine, and it is why the men over there look over here? but in the end what is underneath is all the same, and all unique to each woman as it is to each man and hopefully that is what you will find. You don't need a visa, you just need to look for the person who completes you.

Men are men no matter what part of the world they come from yet European men always seemed so cultured. Trufully it all depends on the other persons preconcived notions. | |

Good god accent are just sexy.. ((People that are not from the USA also have diffrent living standard and a diffrent way of doing thing. Witch i belive the chicks not from AMERICA are doing somthing RIGHT!!! I have not pin pointed it yet but i believe is the Hair conditioners they use.)) <--Joking} But seriously i think that the accent has a big part to do with AMERICAN guys liking chicks from other countrys. | |

Posted: 8/20/2005 11:19:26 AM | I don't think that American women are any less sexy physically. Unless they are Native Americans then their genes all come from someplace overseas right? Typically though, Europeans in particular have a much more relaxed "natural" attitude about sex, and hence come off as being "sexier". American women's sexuality just seems to take awhile to emerge from underneath the burden of a very dysfunctional American cultural attitude towards sex. Having a partner who facilitates that growth goes a long way towards bringing it out in them, so men, do your part to help your woman feel comfortable exploring her sexuality with you, and you will reap awesome rewards! | |

Is this just nature or do they just know how to dress, maintain a hairstyle and look decent all the time? I think some guys just now how to pull it together more than others. They take pride in not looking scruffy. Some of us I think are blessed and have hair cuts that suit us and good taste in clothes.... Ironically, I don't. Bad taste in clothes, hair cut..well... I notice the men claiming the women elsewhere are hot don't seem blessed that way anymore than I am. It is irksome however to look through profiles and see....pics of guys with bedhead, overgrown hair cuts, hair cuts that might have suited them 15 years ago, stubble all over their face, untrimmed facial hair that drags curls into their mouth, rumpled tee shirts, baggy, shapless pants, sweat pants...etc.... | |

Posted: 8/27/2005 10:15:10 AM | It's not that simple----"sexier" than US women...but there is a difference, generally. I've noticed that foreign women, especially from the former soviet union and Asia are unhappy with men generally in their own countries. Awareness in this country about alcohol, domestic violence and women's rights have overall produced a 'male' more tolerable to the foreign women than the 'old world' attitudes prevalent in their cultures.
As such, they intend to be more appealing, not suspicious. There is a subterraine of suspicion in the exchange between american women and men...almost as though, having been burned before, the woman (american) is daring the man to be adequate, whatever that means to her. | |

My taxes sure don't go to the school or these pot holes in the road | |
