Posted: 8/8/2005 9:24:35 PM | Been living in Brampton, Ontario now for two years and do I ever miss NFLD women thats for sure. There is nothing up here even close to george street and the newfie women up here seem to have mainland attitude hahahaha.

 for Newfie women though

Hey thats what i hear, i didn't make it up.
Ok ok, perhaps i'm just being the devils advocate. I am from Newfoundland, Grand Falls more precisely. However, i left there the day i finished high school in 1984 and never went back. I consider Nova Scotia to be where i am from. I have spent the best part of the past 10 years there and absolutely love it. I will retire there and eventually, i'll be planted there.

I assure you, Newfoundlanders are normally a 'tunneled'visioned' crowd when it comes to a lot of things, especially 'thier fish' as they like to say. Truth is, they stole it from the Acadian, Beothuk, and Miqmaq First Nations Peoples many many years ago. LOL
Funny how they don't feel the same way about equilization payments and 'coming to Ontario to get thier stamps'.
