Posted: 8/18/2005 8:12:33 AM | In my 1st relationship. I was cheated on! It was ok for her to date other people, but I wasn't allowed, as I found out later!
Instead of discussing our relationship problems with me, she would discuss it with her exes or the other person she was dating.
I didn't find out till 3 months later that she was dating some one else at the same time she was dating me. She told me she wanted a committment with me. (Thats what you get for dating a social worker who does abuse and marriage counselling). She also constantly lied to her friends about what was going on between us.
I treated her with respect and romance and she treated me with disrespect and like dirt. | |

Juts out of curiousity she wouldnt be from lloydminster would she lol had a social worker out there who jerked me around lol | |

3 they got bored with the old relationship

Ladies on the hunt......usually are always on the hunt..( with so many fish...it's hard to settle on one)
You meet a girl that's a bar regular....well.......that's what you get......A bar girl.
One must cherish and addor the ladies one's with ...
This still does not garentee that she will be faithful...
One must think more like the ladies....
Lots of friends( girls)......lots of options.....
Never throw away the little black book when you start dating a new girl...( or ever)
Girls GET calls from old lovers......( it's friends calling)
Guy have to remember to keep in touch with their old lovers....Don't ignore them...or cut them out of your life..
Don't throw all your eggs in one basket.
Best to have 2 cars.....incase one breaks down.
Always put some away for a rainy day.
Always have an excape route.
Lost of fish fella....
Freshen up the worm....and throw the hook back into a the pond 
There is lots more where tht came from....

Posted: 8/18/2005 12:42:57 PM | Ask yourself this.... if you have ever cheated or thought of cheating.. what are the reasons you would cheat? I would presume the same would apply for a woman cheating.
There are as many reasons for cheating as there are people on the earth. To pin point an exact reason that is so tangible you can prevent it is impossible as each person has their reasons (if they do that sort of thing) based on his or her experience.
Personally... I think it all begins with the breakdown or basic non-existence of communication between the two parties.
I have been the one who was cheated on and I still don't have any answers for why he did what he did.
In most cases it's easier to walk away knowing you are the better person. All the best to you in finding any answers you may be looking for. | |

Posted: 8/18/2005 10:33:15 PM | As I said it was my 1st gf. who cheated on me not my 2nd. I haven't seem my 1st gf since 1993. So I guessed I have moved on. I put this up so that there would be an equal thread to why do men cheat.
To show that men aren't the only ones that cheat.
Even though I have never cheated and never would of thinking of doing so
I would never want to give the feeling of someone to someone who has been cheated on. All I know it makes you sick to your stomach and depressed.
