Every night I take off my hearing aids! Otherwise they pinch my ears when I lay my head on the pillow.
Next time he snores just nudge him. It will cause him to shift position and it will probably stop. Certain neck angles, etc. will facilate snoring.

Again that's "ear plugs" not "butt plugs".

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/20/2005 5:12:52 PM | | I'd say its a good reason. I would dump a guy if he was a bad eater. Biggest pet peeve is poeple who eat loudly, chew with their mouths open or talk with their mouths full. Any guy who does gets sent packing lol. | |

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/20/2005 5:24:32 PM | | omg my x bf was a person with sleep apnea-I mean LOUD, I tolerated it with a sleep aide..he doesn't realize he has this condition and I mentioned it to him..well those types don't sleep they stop in the middle of a snore-and then you wondered if they are alive and then they start right back up-well being he was/is like that and I have a condition that smoke or irritants aggravate and my nose and ears swell-I can barely hear in the am sometimes and I have a slight snore-if I don't use steam treatments or have my back patted..anyway due to the fact I have a slight snore I had to sleep on the couch!!!!!!! and he is still heard down the street..his own son went to a motel to get away fromthe snore!!!!!!!!!!!!lol without a sleep aide i'd be up all night-but everytime i even snored once he'd wake me up-well it's a waste of a good sleep aide for sure.lol | |

THEN THE SIRENS start arriving and it's a big mess and THAT would be WRONG!!!!!!
Maybe seperate bedrooms would be the safest and most non-life threatening choice for now, huh?

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/20/2005 5:31:50 PM | maybe that is why my grandfolks slept in seperate rooms and stay together 80some yrs. heck the men would head for the living room after a meal and dad sounded like a percolator! | |

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/20/2005 5:58:29 PM | Excuse me? You're going to break up with someone you refer to as a "real good guy" because an involuntary physical function that he may be able to get under control, because you don't want to "piss him off" by saying that his snoring bothers you? For this you're going to destroy your relationship?
Young lady, I'm a patient man, and I almost NEVER make snap judgements about people I have never met; but I will say this. If you break up with him because of that reason only, it isn't his loss.....it's yours, and he is better off.

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/20/2005 6:20:41 PM | I've already said it....it's your loss. When I was still married my wife snored like a revving deisel engine the entire seven years we were together....our divorce had nothing to do with that.
I actually got used to the sound...it took a while before I could fall asleep without it.

| is it wrong 2 get rid of a guy for snoring Posted: 8/20/2005 7:24:10 PM | Nah... the snoring's an excuse. Like she said, there are lots of other guys out there who are NICER THAN HIM. She's just wanting to see if 'snoring' will fly as an excuse to get rid of him so she can start shopping again.
Tell him the truth. | |
