I want to know what everyone thinks the most twisted sick to your stomach movie ever made is.
I dont really mean by gore so much as the kind of movie where you just sit back thinking
what the **** was that.
I gotta go with sin city or
Bully. that would be based on a true story

Posted: 8/21/2005 3:58:51 PM | If you're talking about mainstream films that people are actually aware of, it's tough to beat The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The dinner table scene when they wheel Grandpa in will definitely leave you with a weird feeling your gut.
I have however seen much worse in smaller studio films. Troma produces some twisted shit, although most of it is so over the top that it's impossible to take seriously. | |

i would have to go with Gozu, its a japanese flick....and it almost made me puke, and i dont have a weak tummy...im not going to say anything else, because i dont want to spoil it, although i know not even 5 of you will go and watch it.
also the movie May, but then i thought it was sweet.

Posted: 8/22/2005 5:08:47 PM | Kids, go find Eraserhead, trust me on this, it just doesn't get anymore 'twisted'. This is the very definition of twisted, pure twisted concentrate. Works well with hard drugs.
Donny Darko - I like this flick a LOT. My teenage daughter turned me onto it, not very twisted. Just really, really cool.
Bully - Real life, brutal, disturbing, It could've been me and my friends. Not twisted. Good flick.
Tarantino - Great stuff! Brutal, graphic, stylish, disturbing, funny, not very twisted.
House of 1k, Nightmare, Chainsaw, etc. - Horror flicks, brutal, graphic, disturbing, some are mildly twisted.
Mulholland Drive - I really liked this one, but it wasn't nearly as twisted as I had hoped, very sexy in a twisted way, LOL!
Rocky Horror - What can I say, it's a classic, I love it. Weird, funny, but only twisted if you are still freaked by gender bending.
Run Lola Run - I absolutely loved that one, but not very twisted.
I don't know the Troma stuff.
Some really cool, stylish, frequently disturbing and somewhat twisted flicks I dig:
Blue Velvet
Wild At Heart
Lair of The White Worm - Just gotta love this one!
Jacobs Ladder - Extremely disturbing, fairly twisted.
Event Horizon - If you can get past the sci-fi angle, this one is also extremely disturbing and mildly twisted.
Hedwig And The Angry Inch - Great flick, funny as hell, if you can't cope with gender bending this will be very twisted and more than a little disturbing.
Twisted Genre - Betty Blue, Breaking the Waves, any of those friggin movies that confuse love and passion with insanity. | |

Very good story and well 4 hours later you may have a different opinion about all of North America in general. | |

Posted: 8/23/2005 8:27:52 AM | | well id have to say my fav movie alien. i mean come on the monster has never and will NEVER be matched in pure ferocity (and if you say the pred thats weak cuz the pred is a lame movie monster i dont care what you say). the biggest freak factor of the alien is the facehugger. um (and i know no one will agree with me here) but the remake of charlie and the chocolate factory was messed. the devils rejects was pretty sadistic. oh yea one more: requiem for a dream. if you havent seen it just go out and get it because it's nuts! | |

Some 'twisted' movies that made me think were: Memento, 21 Grams, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Saw, Trainspotting,and more...I can't think right now...lol
One screwed up movie I saw recently was a movie made in China that had three short stories on it ....I think it was called 'Three Extreme'...Well, the second story was titled 'Dumplings' and was about women who ate these 'special' dumplings that made them stay young....Well, the dumplings were made of ground up fetuses....And they showed a six month old baby who was still born...and she made dumplings out of him...and they show them eating them and then at the end, this one lady is pregnant and she sticks a coat hangar up herself to kill her baby so she can eat it....It was disgusting...made me sick to my stomach....the most ****ed up thing I have ever seen.....gross....
Now I really want to see 'Bully' though....seems like everyone liked it. | |
