That why i put mine in the center of my breasts. I havent got any complaints yet, had it for almost 10 years now. | |

I've thought about getting one but I'm too on the fence. I see them as passing phases - for myself. But that is my personal opinion regarding my body. I like a woman's body to be smooth and delicate. Getting a tat, on myself, would ruin that natural look for me, and I don't find it feminine. At least for myself, on me personally. I can appreciate the look on another woman's body though.
I'd NEVER get one on my chest. If I did get one, period, it would be on my butt....or on the small of my back.
Tats on men are another thing altogether. | |

Tats don't make the person, pre-concieved, antiquated notions often do, though they shouldn't.

Posted: 8/23/2005 4:42:56 PM | I have one, got it when I was 19. I dont even notice its there anymore. I wear tank tops and low cut shirts no one else seems to be bothered by it. Its not that big about a little over an inch all around. And it doesnt make anything look lopsided.

I have a rose on my ankle.. I got during a period in my life where I was growing both emtionally and mentally...
I have an OM symbol on my foot.. to remind me to walk with the divine/god daily..
and most importantly
my butterfly.. over my left breast.. with my daughters name engraved under it..
the butterfly a symbol of my spreading my wings and becoming what i needed to.. my daughter's name because she is the reason I have grown and am what I am today and she is also the love of my life.
for me tats are art and an expression of who I am and where i've been..
not for all people.. but.. to each his/her own. | |
