With that said however, I have noticed that their are tendencies from each sign. I don't have enough experience with some signs to make examples of all of them, but for instance:
As a Libra, I notice that I almost instinctively look at both side of a problem or issue, it goes without fail. While I am not always, I can be, indecisive, or give the appearance of being so because I quite often am weighing the pros and cons of a given situation, decision, choice, etc. I also have a great love of beauty. I can't seem to help it. I try to be conscious of this 'seeming' fact, and of course I am not so shallow that I base my choices solely on looks alone, but if a woman doesn't look hott to me, forget it, you could be the the female Einstein and I would care less.
Virgos are mostly family oriented, they do have their periods where they let their hair down, but they are all about family, be it direct or extended. They also like to be social butterflys, and they like to 'stir-the-pot' as it were. They like drama to a certain degree. Virgo's are not as open as say, a Libra like myself. You could know me about ten minutes and I might decide that you're ok to know some sensitive things about me... because I am usually very trusting. It can be very difficult getting them to pull back those emotional layers.
Taurus's are the most stubborn of the signs, no doubt about it. Yet, they are also very devoted once you've gained their heart and/or trust.
Gemini's love sex, along with Scorpios... I don't think I've met a one yet that wasn't. And if you think you love sex, date one of those signs, trust me, they'll open your eyes.
Scorpio's are also somewhat reserved though.. they don't wear their hearts on their sleeves as the saying goes. And, they can be vicious if you tick them off and/or hurt them emotionally.
They say that your opposite sign is supposed to be your most compatible, which for me would be the Aries. I've never had an Aries girl, so I can't say... but, I'm still not married so maybe that's my problem?! Hahah
It does also matter what your rising sign is... sheesh, for me it's like a double whammy... I have Libra rising.
Cancer's are also very family oriented. They also act like a crab too; they whine a lot (no offense crabs), even if it is justified whining. They also 'retreat' emotionally when hurt into their shells. Definitely not compatible with me for the long-haul... friends yes, but lovers, forget it... I'm too much of a talker and I need to know what you're thinking so I can mull things over from a couple million angles..
I don't have as much experience with Pisces, Saggitarians, or Capricorns.
Leo's and I get along great. Leo's are the Kings of the 'jungle' and they want to be reminded of that... I know (instinctively) how to stroke their ego's and when to keep my mouth shut when Leo is upset or angry... I roomed with a male Leo for several years and we got along great, sure we got on each others' nerves from time to time, but never, and I mean never, did we get into a heated argument where one of us was left steaming mad. I can help the Leo to see that other side of the coin that they didn't think about... while they can help me to see that not putting too much thought into some things is more beneficial than being cautious like I am normally.
Little things here an there... I see some validity to a lot of it, but you can't use it as a fail-safe 'guide'... people are unique and it's dangerous to think otherwise. | |

I studied astrology for a while just for the heck of it. I do see some very basic fundamental "trends" within each sign. While nothing is locked in stone (and of course that discounts environmental, cultural and life experiences), I've seen for the most part the basic trends do seem to follow the signs. Really, all one can do as far as looking at the sign is concerned is consider the basic trends.
If you've been with 5 aries, and you know that you've had the worst conflicts with every Aries you've been with, well... you would probably decide that perhaps Aries is just not a very compatible sign, whether it be by a compatibility guide or not knowing about astrological compatibility and just using the life experience ;)
There are more geminis on a dating site than any other sign. Libras tend to be the majority of the most exotic/adventurous profiles. At any rate, (in spite of others viewpoints), I do pass on Aries. Other signs I'm just basically learier of some more than others but will keep an open mind. | |

I can tell you that I'm a true pisces. However, the closer the birthdays lean towards one sign or the other sign depending on where it falls, also plays a role. Many signs, if they are close enough can take on some or all of the tendencies of both signs (the one they fall into and the one they are closest to). Those are the people that are harder to read. It's not all cut and dried like most of the websites on the internet make them out to be. | |

I've always been attracted to Saggitarians.....it's something about their wacky sense of humor and their sense of adventure....we have that in common for sure....
I dated a Virgo once and it was a nightmare experience. He was a soulful musician....and I..well...I appreciated it, until he started to cry..often...
I've also dated a Scorpio...and the magnetism was OUT of this WORLD! But Gemini's and Scorpio's are complete opposites. You either have to learn to embrace one another's differences (there are many) or the relationship is going to turn sour very quickly!
Gemini's seem to be (zodiac wise) low on choices as far as compatibility goes......I've heard that Libra's make good partner's, but I've never dated one.... | |
